[REQ] Taller trees. They are so short!

Post » Sat Sep 11, 2010 6:56 pm

I tried searching around, but came up with nothing.

Is there a simple way (or an existing mod) to up the size scale of the trees, while still using the custom tree meshes from http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2525?

The green trees are pretty, but they make you realise how rediculously small the trees are, the branches are on so low level that they constantly block you from seeing anything else.

Thanks for any links/suggestions/info. :)

Well one thing - - the Fallout canon is saying that growing trees were stunted. Fallout 3 didn't quite follow that as closely (all trees were DEAD, none growing, heh).

It is possible to go into the game and re-scale the objects individually in the game world so that they are larger or smaller. I have worked a bit with this in a custom world area in my mod (my choice was to make the trees smaller, though). Maybe that helps ..

Ok, so there?s no master setting, rather I would need to edit GreenerWorld mod itself in GECK to have solution that?s compatible with its custom mesh paths?

Damn, I?m not allowed to download GECK...heh...not yet at least, have to get my Oblivion mods in order first.... :P

Anyone interested in releasing a taller trees mod? I mean maybe it could be merged with mods like Greener Word, that change the mesh paths thus touching same records? :hehe:
