Belief is one thing. Fact is another.
Let's try to ignore actual religious debates here, facts are things that are proven whereas Christianity prides itself on faith where faith to begin with is unproven and thus not the same thing as fact. You actually work to undermine a part of Christian belief by asserting it as fact in this way. Also all you'll do with assertive statements that you can not prove is start a flame war which is not needed, you're welcome to believe what you want, not everybody has to agree with you and certainly many do not.
It's like the Muslim trying to ban the jesus belif trought Terrorist acts, would you like to be forced to ignore the Christianism belif just because the men you worship as your "savior" is a mortal? They are like the Thalmor, homever Thalmor are a more powerfull faction.
You see that's what you'd call a bad example, Muslims believe in Jesus too you know but they call him Isa, there are a few differences between Muslims and Christians over the the belief in Jesus but needless to say Muslims will not ban him. A better example maybe that of Christians making Pagan worship illegal in Imperial Rome about 1,700 years ago. One example could be Mithras, a Pagan sun god who was heralded by many as a savior of man before Christianity even existed.
