[RELz] Tamriel Rebuilt - Antediluvian Secrets #5

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 6:18 am

Do we have any rough estimates for the next releases?

I guess what I mean is: In the next three months or not?

Either way, you guys are doing an excellent job over at TR. This project is truly an epic masterpiece of modding...

The next release? It'll be done when it's done. ;)

Most excellent! What water textures/effects are you using? The river looks extra-nice.

Well, I use mge3.8.2-rev.0178, which includes a lot of nice water effects. Additionally, I made the water reflect the sky, landscape, nearby statics and distant statics by using MGE. Also, I have the wave height at 50 (requires shader model 3.0).

The current public version has a Necessities of Morrowind plugin available, but a new compatibility plugin will have to be made for each later release, such as the upcoming Sacred East.

Looks absolutely stunning guys, I wait with baited breath for the final release of the Telvannis region. Keep up the good work

Thought I'd take some images of the Heartland release, this time from the coastal regions, starting from the northern edges and working my way down.

So you mean the TR1_NoM is outdated? When can we expect a new NoM TR-addon version?

It's not currently outdated, but next time we make a public release, a new NoM patch will have to be made. The last one was made by Aeven I believe, and he's a TR Modder, so I'm sure it won't take him too long to make a new one should he so choose.

Just a note, in case you're interested: "Baited" breath would be from chewing on earthworms, minnows, or other forms of "bait". "Bated" breath is a poetically shortened form of "abated", as in "stopped". Regardless of what it's called, I'm waiting for TR3 with it, too.

:) Not sure if this one has been shared yet. I personally like it for the sense of scale you get when looking at the Redoran village on the mountainside.

I've installed this wonderful mod, but I need help. The map shown ingame is wrong:

I don't know what to do to fix the problem, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod three times but with no good result. Is this happened to someone else before?

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b120/iamerik/MW%20and%20Oblivion/MGEScreenshot1-5.jpg I don't think he's using it. The map is pretty big, but I think you can already stretch it that far in vanilla. Not sure though.

Could be a savegame problem; savegames are notoriously stubborn about updating the map. Try updating your savegame's map with Wrye Mash and see if that does the trick.

If you choose to do this, first uninstall the MCP map expansion, reload your save, and resave your game, then fix the map on that save, and reinstall the MCP map expansion, otherwise, you will just make that save never have the expanded map from the MCP.

Yes it worked! But now it seems I have a different issue, a grid has appeared on the map:

I believe this is an automatically-on feature that you have to turn off with MCP or MGE or some similar program.
