TAMRIEL REBUILT GROUNDCOVER

FEATURES:
-Animated grass for Tamriel Rebuilt Maps 1 & 2 using Vurt's meshes and textures

DESCRIPTION & MORE INFO:
The .esp contained in this archive will add grass to Tamriel Rebuilt maps 1 & 2 (Telvannis and Antedeluvian Secrets, respectively). This effect is achieved by placing grass meshes on areas where terrain is painted with grass textures.

TO-DO:
-If you find stray grass meshes anywhere, please report them to me and I will groom them out!
-As TR expands, so will this mod. For example, grass for Sacred East has already been generated and is available to TR modders on the TR forums.

If you have the version from TR's forums, Mort, I recommend updating to this version. I've gone in and fixed places where grass looks ugly in Helnim and Firewatch. There are bound to be other places it's a little wonky, so I look forward to any and all reports on the matter.

Negative. If there are places the two overlap, I haven't noticed and even if there were, Muspila's mostly deals with completely different areas. Use 'em together, my readme actually suggests that you do.

The cool thing about grass .esps is that it doesn't matter what other plugins are supposedly required. MGE should just generate the grass happily without any issues.

The only way you could get any errors related to it wanting TR_Mainland is if you tried to check it in the launcher. And that is not a good idea!! Don't do that! :ahhh:

Considering that you're not supposed to have grass esps active in your load order at any time, I don't think it matters a lot. Unless the TR_mainland version of map 1 and 2 is different from the currently released version.

Edit: Knots beat me to it. By 15 minutes? I guess I had this page open for a while. :P

Does this work with any of Vurt's Groundcover? I'm still using 2.1 of Groundcover, cause it fits mostly perfect to my groundtextures.
Thus I had your earlier version of this mod you released some months ago in another thread.
I only remember the file was pretty huge (round 50mb) & called "Grass_Mainland_Knots.esp"
Just curious.

It should work with any of them.

I totally forgot that I released the mainland .esp forever ago in the TR thread for the Map 4 alpha. This is an update to that file and should be used in place of it. It's 55mb but it compresses nicely, so you only have to download ~15mb.
