Post » Thu Jan 06, 2011 2:18 pm

All races of the land, hear by these words that the content herein pertains to and only to the great mainland of Morrowind. Far away be the pestilences that cling to those blighted monstrosities from Vvardenfell! Nay! Upon your inquiry into these very words, you shall only find modular additions to the mainland of the glorious- and blight free- Tamriel! Huzzah!

The list herein is verified to be current as of the 11th day of November in the year of 2009.

KEY: Some mods may have symbols next to them. Look here for an explanation
|!|: This mod was made before the latest release of TR_Map1 and has not been updated for compatibility. This may render the mod incompatible if used with the latest build of TR_map1.esm

General Kontin Arynx died during the reign of Kintyra II while he defended Morrowind's east coast from Uriel III in 3E 121. To bridge the gap of a revealed internal Imperial instability, Uriel IV had a palace built on the southernmost isle in the Telvannis District in honor of Arynx's sacrifice-attempting to maintain order in an already shaky province.
Today, the palace that is Arnyx Castle sits unused, having been given at first to Queen Barenziah, then to Duchess Jandacia and Governor Flavius to escape the bureaucracy of Imperial life in Firewatch and Helnim.

It's a house in Firewatch. It has a Dining Room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Storage Room, Garden, Library, Cellar, Sitting Room, and a Roof-Porch. Requires Tamriel Rebuilt Maps 1 and 2, and TR_Data.

What does this mod do? Llothanis is a brilliant Tamriel Rebuilt town. It's built completely over water - this maze of bridges and docks is quite a sight to behold. I thought, I wish I could settle down here. But I couldn't. So to solve that, I created this, a little house mod. It adds a little housepod to the town which you can buy for 500-1000 Drakes, depending on your faction.

This adds a new unique Lighthouse home, a short ways south east of Firewatch. The Lighthouse is even scripted to activate its rotating beacon every night. There is a short but detailed quest involved before you can gain ownership of the Lighthouse. With unique dialog, scripted events and mystery. When you first enter the Lighthouse it is a dark and haunted place, but once you complete the quest it will become a bright and friendly place to live and sleep.

This mod adds a small house north of Alt Bosara on the mainland of Morrowind. The house is a pre-existing ruin adapted to be lived in. It has lots of storage, a fire pit, and a bedroll, among other things. See the screenshots for more details on what's in it.

In the fishing village of Adurin-Ouaka, a Telvanni Guard has fallen ill and had to permanently move north to Helnim for treatment. He left his house and all his belongings to the other Telvanni Guard posted in Adurin-Ouaka. The remaining guard is willing to part with the shack, for a price.

This farmhouse features a small patch of corkbulb root that you can harvest when you please. There is a half wrap-around porch that features a small space for storage under it, accessible from under the rear stairs. Inside, a comfortable bed and cozy fireplace await you, along with plenty of room for your books and whatever you wish to display. Down the stairs you will find a small cellar with ample storage for your things.

Fellius Marvus is a well-off yet humble old Breton who loves to travel the world. For a while now, he's been settled down in Helnim Fields outside of Helnim, but he's getting a bit anxious. Soon, he'd like to move out of his home and travel some more of the world. When you meet him, he'll run you along on some little tasks to grab a few collectibles for him before he decides to move along and leave you the house.

Due to the apparent lack of player housing in the Tamriel Rebuilt Map 1: Telvannis, something needed to be done. In this mod, a small home can be found in the Molagreahd Region, near the opening of a valley. Specifically, the house is located at cell 16,19, which is north west of Firewatch.

On the path south out of Bal Oyra at the tip of the Molagreahd is an abandoned, old shack. A fire somehow still burns outside, yet it seems nbody has been around for years. An unwelcome visitor has taken up residence in the shack, but this is the only pest that stands between you and your new sleeping hole.

So there wasn't much housing available in the Telvannis map. So this mod aims to fix that. It adds in a small-to-medium sized home in Ranyon-ruhn across from the bar and next to the guard house. The home features a fully furnished dining area, complete with silverware; a study with an empty bookshelf for your books; a fully carpeted bedroom; and a large storage area with plenty of chests and tables for display.

Somehow through helping this Nord, you may find yourself happening upon a strangely coincidental house pod in Tel Muthada. Inside features a dining area with storage for food and utensils on the bottom floor. Upstairs, you'll find a cozy little bedroom with a little bit of storage for your odds and ends.

This mod will allow you to harvest plants from Tamriel Rebuilt without opening them as containers. It will also change the models for picked/unpicked plants. For example, if you were to pick a black rose, the rose would disappear but the plant would remain (after all, you didn't harvest the whole plant, you just wanted the flower).

The mod brings Necessities of Morrowind to the TR map1 beta 2, Telvannis, via Taddeus and Nymerias modders resource NOM compatibility pack. It has been tested to work with NOM 2.12. It should however work fine with earlier versions of NOM and without NOM.
If you should use it without NOM, you will not get the NOM functions, such as hunger and thirst, but you will get new vendors and ingredients, drinks etc. around Telvannis.

Rather than open flowers as if they were the same as any crate you find, this mod allows you to "pick" any of the flora which is specific to Tamriel Rebuilt (see the Herbalism mod for flora
from Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon). After 30 days, the plant will be ready to pick again.

http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/fms/Image.php?id=85382
This automates plant picking. Instead of opening when you click on it, the plants will automatically be picked and placed in your inventory. For plants that sometimes have no ingredients there is a random chance that nothing will be picked and you'll get the message "You find nothing of value." You also get this message if you've already picked that plant this month.

Water Life is an attempt to mix the scripting techniques developed in the "Where are all bird going?" plugin with the best aquatic creature modding resources to bring more life into Morrowind waters.
This plugin mainly adds to Morrowind (most) peaceful aquatic creatures based on the wonderful models & textures by Cait Sith, Lady Eternity & Proudfoot, Brash.

A teleportation ring that goes to every major city in Morrowind. Does not require any expansions or other mods. *Supports Tamriel Rebuilt*
Most of the places the ring can take you have various fast travel options, so really, this ring is just a faster way to get there than walking over to a guild mage, silt strider, or boat. A few options are blocked until you complete a certain requirement, such as the first set of pilgrimages for the Tribunal Temple.

This mod covers various regions of Morrowind with grass. The grass was placed using a utility made by Yacoby, which can place meshes automatically across the landscape based on various settings.
This release includes the regions of the Bitter Coast, Ascadian Isles, West Gash, Grazelands, and Tamriel Rebuilt's Maps 1 & 2. Each region has it's own esp file so you can choose which regions you want to have grass. The same 2 grass types are used through all regions, but this won't be the case in the next release. If you're using Morrowind Graphics Extender (MGE), you also have the option for the grass to be animated.

This is a little mod, which I made for my own fun first, but decided to publish. It is doing olny one thing: makes every "feminized" armor into the "male" version of it from Morrowind, Tribunal and Bloodmoon.

"Schwaa's Scrolls Upgrade", although an excellent mod, unfortunately comes with this issue. This patch fix the problem, at the moment only in the interior cells of TR Map 1. What I did? Couldn't be simpler, I just reviewed every interior cell in TR Map 1 and raised up the scrolls. So now the meshes of Schwaa's mod no longer bleeds, and lay down on the surfaces very nicely.

This adds the random NPCs of Morrowind Comes Alive to Telvannis' settlements. In version 3.0, the added NPCs are a part of the correct Tamriel Rebuilt factions, guards have the same equipment as the TR guards, and everything just makes a lot more sense. 3.0 was a complete redo from version 2.0, and is much better as a result.

Annoyed you couldn't BRPatch your Tamriel Rebuilt books and use Book Rotate with all the loot from Firewatch? Well, now you can.
This fix adds Book Rotate scripts to over 90% of books added by Tamriel Rebuilt, that is, all closed books (next update will have the scripts working on open books too). Enjoy.

This mod repairs landscape seams that occur in the landmass added by the Tamriel Rebuilt project as a result of the Morrowind engines' inability
to seamlessly blend more than 2 types of land texture simultaneously.
Landscape seams are most profound when using high resolution textures and removing them will help enhance the general appearance of the landscape and improve immersion into the game.

Povuholo's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=6427 should be mentioned since it can fix Distant Land for TR.

Thanks. I'm trying to get some plans for the weekend figured out tonight so I won't be adding to the list yet. I will have time on Monday to make additions and corrections to the list. In the meantime though, keep 'em coming.

Half the mods on there are mine. Haha.. and I'm working on another one. It's gonna be my best for TR yet.

Updated the list to add the mods Pluto listed, as well as some mods from the list at the TR Forums.

Added a key to explain any symbols in the list- so far, it only has one symbol. But if need be, it will be expanded. I want to try to be as clear as possible.

Added the "Realism Mods" category, and moved some mods into that category as they fit.

Nice list, Trunks! :D

However...
(!): This mod was made before the latest release of TR_Map1 and has not been updated for compatibility. This may render the mod incompatible if used with the latest build of TR_map1.esm

That symbol is part of the name of (all) my mods!
Don't suppose you could use a different symbol, perchance?

Great! I knew about the poe light house and was about to start adding TR into my game for the first time and see if it will run on my comp. lol This list will be a huge help. I need to point something out though. I have the beta 1.0 of TR map 2, and am on my way to check if there is a more up to date one now, but as I was reading the readme packed in with the one I have currently I noticed it states..

===============================================
INSTALLATION:
===============================================
Extract TR_Data.bsa, TR_Data.esm, TR_Map1.esm, and TR_Map2.esm to the \Data Files\ directory.

You will need to use the BSAreg utility.
Simply run the executable and select TR_Data to be registered.

You may also register the BSA file manually if you prefer. To do so simply open
the Morrowind.ini file present in your Morrowind directory and add this line to
the [Archives] section:
Archive X=TR_Data.bsa
Where X is the next available number. If you do not have installed other mods that have BSA files, you should see this:
[Archives]
Archive 0=Tribunal.bsa
Archive 1=Bloodmoon.bsa
Archive 2=TR_Data.bsa
(Morrowind.bsa is automatically loaded by the engine regardless of what is or isn't in the [Archive] section, so it is normal if it is not listed.)

This will eliminate the need for messing around with individual .nifs, etc.
Finally, move the bookart and sound folders into data files.

Since their readme makes mention of BSAreg tool, it might be best to link it as well. While there is not a TR mod specifically, it is sort of a mod, and a lot of people using these mods may need to be aware of it. It's not always a good idea to mess with the Morrowind.ini file.

I added the BSAreg utility. Also, a bump for those who may be looking for TR mods. Also, a bump for those who have mods and want to add them to the list.

Are there any mods out which add guild quests for TR?

We are adding quests ourselves, so a mod doing so would end up being redundant.

Are any of those quests supposed to come out before the new maps (map 3 and up) or will they be part of that package?

If they aren't released for Telvannis/Antediluvian Secrets, they'll definitely be released with Sacred East. We are not sure yet how that will unfold in the near future.
