Screenshots are old and outdated. Since Baan Malur was finished in 2011, you'd better go to my blog to see accurate screens of the city. http://scamp.blogspot.de/2011/08/tamriel-rebuilt-baan-malur.html

Meh, seen them a long time ago. Still amazing every time I see it though. I'm wondering, if the quality is only gonna increase, wouldn't that make the first two maps...look bad? Well, I guess when you take into account that they are pretty much different environments, it wouldn't be too noticeable. I'm still wondering though, are we going to touch up the first two maps as well? It seems like it would help with the cohesiveness.

The two maps each have an update in the tubes which is this close to being released.

I'm kinda holding off traveling to the mainland until they are released, aside from accidentally ending up in Helnim and Firewatch due to divine intervention...

The screen shots of the other maps make 1 and 2 look bad.

We do hope to touch-up Maps 1 and 2 eventually, but for now we are focusing on fixing the stuff that's actually wrong with them while we work to bring you the rest of our as-of-yet unreleased content (ie floaters, bleeders, duplicates, land spikes, etc.).

As far as a status update goes, both of the two remaining claims for Sacred East have just had all dialogue finished! Now it's just some quest work and then we'll be ready for a release :)

That's very nice to hear! Both the news and the confirmation.

And Ranyon-ruhn after Almsivi Intervention. Fun time that day. Teleport out of Indoranyon, end up on the mainland.

Wasnt "this close" also like 2-3 months ago? and 2-3 months before that?

Well, at least when you do get around to it, it should be somewhat simpler, right, since it's all exterior work at this point? The NPCs/quests/dialog are already done, and those're always the (most) time-consuming part

Nice! I like many have been looking forward for more of the land mass.

If i were to make one request it would be for the entire land mass to be released even if it's 2/3 blank the super strait ending of the land mass just kinda annoys me, but i can deal with it and wait!

Each time our fingers get even closer. At this point, they've nearly reached the point where their innate gravity will force them together. As someone who has been massively pessimistic about this for the last 15 months, take it from me that we are VERY close now.

Wow! That looks amazing! (Iv'e always liked the bitter coast, the region was way too small in vVardenfel though.)
I wonder how good that would look with Vality's/vurt's tree replacer...

Edit: Guess I'll have to create a new character to play House Dres o3o A game where I'm not Archmagister of House Telvanni...

I hate the size of the bitter coast myself. It was just too small. If I literally couldn't see the coast from the border of the west gash without MGE, I'd actually enjoy it.

I hated the size of the Bitter Coast too, but loved it itself. That's why that was my favorite part.

I liked the West Gash, the Grazelands, the Ascadian Isles, and the Bitter Coast all the best. Basically, anywhere with greenery. Azura's coast was just too...rocky. That's why I look forward to future releases. Then, the whole Morrowind modding community can see the greener side of Morrowind.

hm...I had my first taste of the grazelands not too long ago. I stumbled upon it when I was trying to find the valley of wind. Didn't think I'd see rolling green hills in this game.

I hope TR isn't a total copy of existing landscape types, though.

Vvardenfall is not a barren rock, regardless of what the foreign settlers will say. It's just that the Telvanni prefer their territory to be a bit more wild than other Houses...

Who said it's a rock? Well, TR has innovated the environment in my opinion. Their land so far doesn't completely match Vvardenfell's style. That's good.

@Thingy Person: I can assure you we have new exciting regions. For one thing, our Sacred East release will contain a true, beautiful forest: the Lan Orethan valley.

Did you test TR's map4 alpha?
It has a touch of Solstheim's vegetation & climate in some parts combined with the architectural styles from Vvardenfell.

Looks pretty fresh to me.
