So, I was close!
So, I was close!
Originally it was Ald Mar for literally "Old Keep" but we decided to give it a bit of language love and thus Aldemmar was born.
'Literally' meaning that you guys based it on Majra's Dunmeri Translator? I don't recall Mar been a known Dunmer word. Either way, the new name sounds good. But I kinda like the sound of Ald'kogo now, heheh.
Anyway, I digress; I still need to finalize those model claims for you guys, lol.
Molag Mar?
By the way, my symbolic positive reinforcement toward the next release. I think it's going to be the most important one of the bunch, no?
I knew saying that would come back to bite me.
Well, Almalexia is the most important city in all of Morrowind, so I think that is a fair assumption.
The next release will also include a fair number of other goodies, such as Almas Thirr (which I' writing dialogue for right now) and the Isle of Gorne.
I've seen an old version of the Isle of Gorne and I was a little disappointed after reading the Poison Song series. Will there now be a few more features like were mentioned in the books?
I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to, but the Poison Song series is fictional, if I recall correctly. So if there are things from the book on the island, it's probably best to consider them coincidental.
No Bosmora? According to the signs, it is south of the Sacred East area. Don't know much about the city except the old video showcasing the towns.
I didn't list every city that would be coming out with Almalexia, just some of the more prominent locations that stood out to me immediately. To answer your question, yes, Bosmora will be included in the next release. It's a pleasant little Indoril settlement (though I'm tad biased about this since I worked on it for a spell) and I hope you enjoy visiting it.
You're correct. Almas Thirr is coming after Almalexia.
It is? I could of sworn we were planning on releasing all remaining Indoril areas in the next release. Even if Almas Thirr isn't Indoril (at least officially, that is) most of the NPC claim that it is a part of is.
I recall reading that as well, but I'm just the new interior guy, so someone higher up may know different.
Map 3 Detailing Claims #1, #2, and #3 are part of Heartland. If any of those are to be added onto Almalexia, such a decision or even a discussion hasn't happened yet, afaik.
It is correct to say that Almas Thirr and Tear are the same city? If it is, I think that this city is ruled by the Dres House. But maybe I'm wrong.
Almas Thirr is not the same city as Tear, no.
Almas Thirr is a Canton city (Similar to Molag Mar) that spans the river Thirr west of Almalexia, and south of Old Ebonheart. Tear is the Dres Capital, which is situated in the southeast of Morrowind, rather close to the Argonia border.
Ok thanks. That why I didn't understand the lasts posts.
Work is very much progressing. The next release is a difficult one because of the immense size of Almalexia. We can always use more hands on deck, so feel free to check out our forums!
well, at least we can hope that the releases after the mammoth-project of Almalexia will be completed faster
Chances are they'll be NPCed before Almalexia, though (they are already interiored, while Almalexia is not) and that discussion will be a very easy one...
So Almalexia's exterior and Mournhold's connection to the exterior will be in the next released portion of TR?
I have a character ready for Tribunal, but refuse to begin it unless I can walk the streets and enter Mournhold from the outside.
