So does that mean a the middle portion of the map is questless?

What map?

'Map 2'/'Antediluvian Secrets' will be coming with at the very least misc quests, most likely a couple of faction lines (FG, TG, EEC, but no Telvanni though I'm afraid) and potentially also an Imperial Archaeological Society line revolving around Kemel-Ze.

The map is in a slightly weird transitory state between various old and new systems at TR, but it's probably most likely that the updated version will come alongside Sacred East (as part of the TR_Mainland file)

Ok cool, so the whole of the map that will be released is going to have quests, sorry if I was not a little clearer. I was trying to ask about the Antediluvian section of the map(I just guessed it was in the middle of the other 2) having quest when the new release is out, which it seems it will, so the whole map will have quests.

I remember when the very first map of Tamriel Rebuilt was released, I never actually thought it'd make it to this point,

Kudos, kudos, this is impressive.

Will towns like Ald Lambassi and Fervinthil, mentioned in 2920, be found in TR?

Probably not; I've never heard of those and, if I recall correctly, 2920 is mostly made-up anyway.

Coming at it from a lore perspective, 2920 takes place in 1E 2920, some thousand years prior to Morrowind. Those towns, if they are not made up, could by now be gone, renamed, or located in what is now another province.

Tamriel Rebuilt needs questers! Not just people to design quests, but the people who actually create them in the CS and often create scripts to go alongside them. We are anxious to bring you the latest release, but are a bit short on this type of modder. The ability to work in a team, and forgo any dreams of grand "Wrath of the Lich King"-type quest ideas and implementations are necessary for such work, along with a sense for the type of lore-based dialogue that we write. If anyone here wants to help TR bring Sacred East to the public sooner, please visit our board's Showcase forum and post a thread showing a bit of what you know about questing and a line about this "help wanted" blurb. Don't forget to register at the forum before you try, if you haven't already!

Well I'd be happy to help...
but unfortunately I ain't from an English speaking country, and even though I can speak and reed English perfectly my grammar is quite bad.

But just a quick question, since the new thread is "Sacred East", does this mean that your expecting Sacred east to finish before the next Antediluvian Secrets?

Sacred East will have all the finished content for the previous releases included as well. This is the main point and advantage of the TR_Mainland format; we no longer have to update multiple separate releases.

Here's a few screenshots of various places, from armun ashlands, velothi mountains, roth roryn, coastal region, Old Ebonheart, Almas Thirr, Almalexia and Necrom.
MGE XE used, 50 cell view distance and insanely high details. Unplayable, but nice for screenshots.

I've seen this project before but never downloaded it. Seeing it come up so often on different TES sites made me decide to give it a try an hour ago.

Now I am cursing myself for waiting so long, hahaha. I can't wait until the next release! I wish I weren't CS illiterate or I would definitely want to help out.

Anyway, keep up the goodwork, though I guess you don't need me to tell you that.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but how will Almalexia work? Will it be like the towns in Oblivion, or is the team really going to copy and paste everything onto the main world? In the screenshot posted it looks like everything is hand placed. I would be worried about this screwing up quests. It might be easier to just throw a dome over it like the Vivec cantons.

IIRC, I believe Mournhold will remain as a separate world space. I don't know what effect levitating over the walls from the outside will have, but it looks like they have placed some replica buildings to give the illusion that the city is right there. They may use an invisible wall system, and TCLing through would reveal that there would be no NPC's or accessible doors.

Don't quote me on this. Just speculating.

Mournhold will remain a separate series of interiors with the entrance between Mournhold and Almalexia being the Gates of Symmachus (the one in plaza Brindisi Dorom.) A dummy exterior will be used to simulate Mournholds exterior for people with long distance viewing mods. A levitation ban will be in effect in Almalexia so the only way to get in Mournhold will be the a)gates and b ) teleportation spells. Almalexia will be a exterior like all the other cities in Vvardenfell and TR-made Morrowind.
