Tamriel's Tomorrow

Post » Mon May 02, 2011 12:37 am

We've seen it before, post Oblivion crisis, Empire divided, civil war. But usually, forumers RP generals, this time your only option is be in the heat of the action. All players will be put directly in battles and they will have to try and survive. Not only will both battles large and small be featured, but a great deal of the game will be camp life. From the start of the game everyone will probably be all on the same side in the same unit, and it will be focused on one area, this will change depending on game growth.
Everything will be based on this map. (sans Yokuda and Pyandonea)

Scenario

It is the 4E, almost immediatly after the end of the Oblivion crisis, Ocato named High Chancellor the new posistion of power in Tamriel and ruled as an Emperor, the people of Cyrodiil were widely upset by this; the majority was in support of Jaufree taking the crown. He seemed like their best leader after his deeds in both the Oblivion crisis and the aftermath. His greatest deed was saving the people from the Champion of Cyrodiil who had gone mad after taking Sheogorath's throne by sealing the Shivering Isles off. So, after much uproar, riot, and even some cases of organized rebelion, the people succesfully overthrew the High Chancellor. Jaufree was named Emporer and the bloodline was to carry on from him, while Ocato moved west the newly rebuilt Kvatch that remained loyal to him; this was because the people there adored Ocato because of the time he spent in Kvatch during it's reconstruction, Anvil also grew loyal to Ocato. The two cities remained loyal to Empire in appearance, but in reality conspirated against, building relations with the Provinces out west.

Meanwhile in Morrowind, the people were swept with devastation from the Daedric invasion, in disrest, the people grew fed up with Helseth's loyalist ways, and had him and his whole family executed. After, the people turned to Nerervarine for leadership, but he left for Akaviir mysteriously. But then, a Charismatic Redoran nobleman by the name of Drelden Venim stepped up and rallied the people. He actually managed to bring all of the houses together in harmony, (besides Hlaalu which remained loyalist to the Empire and took the western mainland part of Morrowind) and also spiked nationalism to a dangerous level. Those who followed Venim rejected many imperial ways, first they razed all imperial cities to the ground, second they went back to their way of life including slavery. Venim became the new king of Morrowind and declared that his peoples way to rebirth is to take what's they believed to be theirs; The Black Marsh and Elsweyr.

Now, the year is 187. Tamriel has stood in a state of realtive peace but separation and all the original leaders of the new factions are long gone and the succesors of their succesors have just begun to take power. The current Emporer; Arelius Septim the II(Jaufree took the royal familys name) is more aggresive than his father, Arelius Septim the I, and wants to take action on reuniting the Empire, he has invaded the Kingdom of Morrowind. For the rest of the Empire is in a fragile state The invasion itself is focusing on reclaiming the Topal Bay area.

Due to the Empire's fragile state, depending on who wins this war and by what margin they win it. The Empire will wither shater further or it will come back together.

Factions

The Empire
Lead by Arelius Septim the II a young and confident ruler, currently holds everything west of the Velothi and Valus mountains, current focus is on Gideon and retaking Argonia.

The Kingdom of Morrowind
Still lead by Drelden Venim. Holds everything east of the Velothi and Valus mountains, their military focus is moving through the Topal Bay trying to capture Leyawiin and eventually Eslweyr.

Players

At the start all players will be in the Imperial Legion, fighting in the Topal Bay Area. The army will be somewhat based on the Roman legion when it comes to rankings.

Miles: Much like privates, the basic frontline soldier. Don't make serious characters in this only secondary characters, these will die easily and are also live in poor conditions.

Carius: The non-commisioned officers of the Imperial legion, serve as elite soldiers and have authority over miles, most players will be here.

Centurio: Commanders of a unit of men, usually around five hundred, very few will be here.

Tribunus: In charge of a whole legion, this will have to be earned.

Characters info+rulish things

Everyones in Imperial Legion for now, there are no restrictions on Gender and Race. But no werewolves or vamps, and the mages are healers

If you really don't want your character to die than tell me so, have a good character sheet, and RP well, I'm implementing a RPing karma system, RP well and good things happen.

Also, there is no need to include your equipment, the Imperial Legion covers that for you, do however say your prefered weapon.

I will tell you your rank unless you want your character to be a miles than tell me.

Other than that just use common sense and you'll be fine but, PM ME BEFORE POSTING!!!
