Zombies freak me out a little. You should add those.
You could also add boars, ghosts, skeletons, scamps, clanfears, deadroth, spider deadra, etc.
I never realized how many creatures there are in Oblivion.

You gotta watch out for those deer! They've got antlers and... soft fur and stuff... Lethal.

Running in to a mountain lion at the first level they appear generally means reloading a new game

A few more levels up you are wondering just what the problem was

Not Mutliple choice? :(

Voted Troll, but, as for "scare me".....well, playing the "Let there be Darkness" mod, anything within a Alyeid ruin that jumps out of shadows scares me.
Trolls, lichs, skeletons, wraiths (they scream at me), undead and necromancers can give me a good scare.
From SI -- everything scares the crap out of me -- skinned hounds, flesh atronachs, even the Ordered Knights...*shiver*

If you're voting on what creatures are a pain to kill, well Ogres take forever to die and Daedroth are just as bad.

Most hated critter? Goblins. The damn things are everywhere, in every cave.....screaming and yelling, until I shove a fireball down their throat. :flamethrower:

I ran into a mudcrab the other day... I voted Mudcrab because it is like the cliffracer of this game... just a big nuisance.

If you have the music playing, I love how, you'll be walking along near a coastline on a beautiful sunny day, and the foreboding 'combat music' starts to play . . . "Hhgngh?! Whats that?" you think to yourself. Zoom out your viewer and look around . . . nothing in sight. Music keeps playing.

Eventually you see this lone, vicious mudcrab come trundling over the hill, skirting around a rock and waving his nasty claws fearsomely. :o Oh Noes! Run away!!

But in answer to your question: nothing in this game really frightens me. I think I got a little scared a couple times when stuff surprised me, but nothing actually 'terrifies' me.

You should add a: "Nothing scares me. I'm the Worst" vote option. Then badasses like me can vote too

None of them terrify me.

There are some that I'd really prefer not to see, since they are difficult and time consuming to deal with.

In particular: Goblin Shaman and Liches (in particular high level liches added by the MMM mod, like Deep Liches or Lich Kings).

With the MMM mod, I really hate seeing Ancient Gargoyles. they don't drop good loot and are really tough to kill, and tend to travel in packs (flocks?).

Let's see:

) Mountain Lions. God, they're like Clannfear, only a natural enemy! They're fast, powerful, and MEAN...MEAN mother [censored]ers. Their pelts are almost worth it, though x.o
) Wraiths. MOST. ANNOYING. UNDEAD. EVAR. Their screams are pretty creepy, too -.-
) Clannfear (though you forgot the Atronachs :o ) same thing as Mountain Lions. Their claws are 50 gold a piece, though :/

Trolls... they are so fast and come out of nowhere.

I was once on my horse when the battle music started playing. I got off my horse and waited... then I heard something moving. I turned and a troll was like 1 ft from me.

Mountain Lions. The way they jump up and down makes it hard to hit them with missiles/magic as they approach. Then they really pack a wallop when they get close.

I think the dead violating Dunmer from Skingrad is hot though.

Glarthir

My character will flee the city while taking sun damage rather than stop to talk to him. :ahhh:

Sure makes trying to do anything in Skingrad a challenge.

Bears, especially brown bears, especially West Weald brown bears. They hit so hard that it's about a guaranteed stagger, which just means that they're going to hit again before you can recover. And they tear through armor.

Clannfears. They jump.... it has to be at least 20 feet in game scale. And they hit hard.

Will o'the Wisps if I'm playing a non-Breton (magic resistance helps a lot), and particularly a weak mage, since they not only drain health, but drain magicka and damage intelligence and willpower. They can make a lower level non-Breton mage totally helpless.

The single scariest thing I've ever faced though (excepting things that have just jumped out at me and surprised me) was an invisible mountain lion at Ft. Caractacus. Mountain lions are tough enough as is, and an invisible one is just pretty much guaranteed death.

First time I ever got near fort caractacus I got hunted down by an invisible mountain lion, scariest thing ever in the game in my opinion. Was the first time I left a dead character stay dead ended up deleting him.
Other than those I don't like those zombies that stunt magicka.
Spider daedra would make me think twice about running away unless I had a high conjuration level.

I love fighting will o the wisps, best loot ever I always get them to chance me till I run into a legion guard after the wisp takes him out it's usually near death and I just finish it off quick.
