Is it possible for me to add a new location for travelers to go to? I am using a castle mod called Hoarfrost Castle, and I would love for merchants to be able to travel to the castle.

i tried to create an OMOD of this for my FCOM install. i placed the following into a folder:

TT139c meshes, omod conversion data, and Textures folders

FCOM_TamrielTraverlers.esp
TamrielTravellers.esm
TamrielTravellers4OOO.esp
TamrielTravellersItemsNPC.esp

when i clicked create omod in OBMM, i got this error:

Error in script

Invalid argument to function 'InstallPlugin'
File 'TamrielTravellers.esp' is not part of this plugin on line18


can anyone help me troubleshoot and solve this? thanks. i suspect it has something to do with me not using the default TamrielTravellers.esp and instead using the FCOM_TamrielTravelers.esp. maybe i cannot place the FCOM_TamrielTravelers.esp in the same OMOD folder with TamrielTravellers4OOO.esp?

Edit- nope, that's not it. removed the FCOM.esp and getting the same script error.

getting a similar error with TamrielTravellerAdvscript.esp- not part of this plugin on line 49

It is alot harder than you think has moving trader around require a few steps, I will take a look at Hoarfrost Castle

Why are you trying to make a omod install when already exist..

TamrielTravellers139c - Even more Omod script Fixes, has the install script that are needed

Download this , and in OBMM click add archive point to this and tell it yes to prompt and answer question.

Once install is done then manually add fcom_tamrieltravellers plugin which requires TT4OOO once again..

perhaps i didn't install TamrielTravellersitemsnpc.esp correctly. now, when i begin a new game, my computer turns off after a few minutes (usually around the time the guards open that hidden trap door in my cell). i finished my FCOM install earlier tonight and was able to run Oblivion fine, without any crashes. BOSS didn't report any errors, and there were no missing textures, green corpses, or any other signs of errors.

i created an OMOD out of TT, and have the TT.esm, TTitemsnpc.esp, TT4000.esp in it (as well as the data files from the meshes, omod conversion data, and textures folders , and have FCOMTT.esp running. note that i unchecked TTitemsnpc.esp in wryebash (it was purple text) before i rebuilt my bashed patch.

Edit- i've since read the wryebash information on Merge Filtering and NoMerge but am not clear on what i need to do to correctly install TTitemsnpc.

because it says in the readme that TTitemsnpc is buggy when merged in Bash, i am not sure about the BOSS tags- if i need to make any changes, and how to incorporate it into my FCOM install.

Answered on the previous page on TTItemnpc.esp (Filter, Delev, Relev) and merge it..

From the Travellers Readme SI section

SI Support - Use the Travellers.esm in SI Travellers Folder, replace your tamrieltravellers.esm with this one in the SITravellers folder and it will add all items from Shivering Isle (Durable Weapons, Most Clothing, Most of new Enchanted Armor Types and Magic Weapons, New Food, New Flora and Ingriedients nearly all that where not quest related) - You will find these items in both Worldspace Now, Merchant's in Cyrodiil will have these items from SI for Sale in Cyrodiil and SITravellers will have SI items also..else

That usually means a mod is missing a master. Make sure you have all required esm files activaed.

I deleted the Oblivion config file and restarted the game (at lowest settings) and it runs fine. When I bump the resolution up, it instantly shuts down my computer somwhere above the 1280x1020 resolution (i tried 1600x1200 and it shut down immediately). This is with my full FCOM installation, so I am pretty sure that the mods are working properly. Plus, I ran BOSS and have no warnings or errors.

This problem didn't start until I installed Tamriel Travellers, so I am wondering if a)TT is incompatible with any other esm or esp files, or any mods in particular, or if b)TT has any components that would make any changes to the game that would make it less stable past a certain graphics setting (I highly doubt this).


Anyone have any ideas?

TT would not cause your computer to shutdown on itself. This sounds like a hardware limitations problem. You were right to post in the Hardware and Software Issues forum. I don't think that this issue is related to mods at all.

Last note: If you are using the version of Harvest Flora bundled with OOO 1.33, uninstall it (the bundled HF) and download the latest version from the HF Nexus page. If you are not sure which version that is, you can find the link to the correct link on the Downloading Mods page on my site; however, it will be the page that has the exact name "Harvest Flora".

I cannot find version 1.40 of the AdvScript. Is it still linked and uploaded somewhere?


Edit: Also, I have seen AdvScript used in many FCOM LO, so is it only okay for v1.40 to be used with TT4OOO or can the v1.39 version work with OOO/FCOM as well.

The ReadMe seemed to indicate otherwise: load before TamrielTravellers.esp or TamrielTravellers4MMM.esp TamrielTravellers.esp or TamrielTravellers4MMM.esp

I just want to be sure...

1.40 Alpha - Tamriel Travellers Advscript.esp - New Feature Player Leveled BarterGold

Since creating a true dynamic gold system is too complicated for my scripting skills. I created an alternate system that works and should add another unique feature to Travellers.

Basically, for every level you gain, the travellers bartergold will increase by 100, at lvl 1 = 1200, at lvl 3 = 1400, all the way up to lvl 20 the max Bartergold would be 3200 that Travellers will have to barter with. This is basic forumla and works during my testing. It does not take into account price of item and subtract it from bartergold, etc, or add gold back to travellers. Just increase their bartergold has you go up in level. So do not ask for this feature too complicated for me to program at this time. It does not take into account fame&infamy&skills etc. I could try and add these checks in at a later time,

Tech: Script checks when travellers wander package's are started, (Onpackagestart) and these wander package's are shared among all travellers including those on horseback, and those in Shivering Isle has well.

Replace your current travellersadvscript.esp with this one, please report any bugs: aka travellers not working correctly after talking to them, them not leaving at certain times, etc..

I have a problem setting TarmrielTravelersItemsnpc.esp in wrye bashed patch.

I read the NoMerge tag should be deleted because it's a filter mod so it should be imported or merged. But even when I remove the tag it appears in no merge/import option of the bashed patch.
What should I do to properly add this esp to the bashed patch?

I have a problem setting TarmrielTravelersItemsnpc.esp in wrye bashed patch.

I read the NoMerge tag should be deleted because it's a filter mod so it should be imported or merged. But even when I remove the tag it appears in no merge/import option of the bashed patch.
What should I do to properly add this esp to the bashed patch?

It should appear in Merge Patches and the Leveled Lists section of the Bashed Patch, first and last?, respectively. Did the plugin turn green after you untagged it? Have you tried toggling auto-tagging to see if that gets the NoMerge tag unregistered?

The plugin was green (the checkbox), with and without checkmark. While looking for the auto-tagging option I noticed the "make mergeable", I used it and the plugin appeared in the merged list of the bashed patch. I guess this should be it.

That works too, but just to be clear: Checked = Active; All Else = Deactivated (the dot and plus only indicate how some or all of the records from the plugin were merged into the Bashed Patch. In those cases, plugin can still be ghosted and is actually not active.) In other words, make sure that that plugin is unchecked (and has a plus sign in the check box.) You might as well right-click and turn on auto-ghosting too...

I reported the following problem to Veritas (creator of TIE) and he bounced me to you.

I am currently playing with Tamriel Immersion Experience which, among other things, includes your Tamriel Travelers in slightly modified form. When I try to buy arrows from outdoor merchants, presumably your Travelers, and attempt to purchase all eight or so available, I get charged for all eight but only receive one. Fortunately, this can be worked around by buying only one arrow at a time, but I thought you would want to know. I have seen this happen multiple times. I have not seen this happen on any other mod-added merchant, including others added by TIE, such as Fences, so it seems unlikely that this is either TIE-specific or the product of a bad mod interaction.

Greedy Merchants aren't they? Pay for 8 only get 1.. :laugh: Try buying just 7 instead

It is the Woold Elf in particular ? or All of them ?

I think I know what is causing the problem with them, related to leveledlist, chest, what they equipped related, if it is woold elf in particular are the ones that are ripping you off.

Can I merge the TamrielTravellers.esp and TamrielTravellersItemsCobl.esp using TES4Edit without messing up the FormIDs? The former has scripts, but the later does not.

Core, I've been away for awhile so I have a couple questions. Does TT work with Enhanced Economy, I see that Enhanced Economy is recommended for FCOM now. Also, are they are issues with TT and UFCOM? Many thanks.

Edit: nevermind about the Economy question, I see the description says it is compatible. :facepalm:

If I remember correctly, compatibility with EE is either built-in to EE, or there is a patch provided. And I know for a fact that there's a patch for TT and FCOM included in the FCOM pack, so use that.

Yeah, I know this but UFCOM supersedes FCOM so I am wondering if there are any issues.
