Nords are the perfect race for tribal tattoos, and that is one thing they need to bring back like they had in Morrowind. Except in Morrowind, you could only get tattoos on the face. Skyrim should have tattoo designs for all races. Warrior/Tribal tattoos for Orcs and Nords. Clan tattoos and religious tribunal tattoos for Dark Elves. Imperials could have average joe types of tattoos like the symbol of the imperial legion, or the fighters guild symbol. High elves could have like mage tattoos like two eyes tattooed to the palms of their hands or something. Or for the thieves guild it could be a way of recognizing fellow guildmates by having certain meanings for tattoos, like a cat with lockpicks tattooed to the backhand of a cat burglar ranked member. Dark Brotherhood tattoos could be skulls or pictures of daggers going into someones heart. Idk I'm just throwing ideas out there
