One of the features in Oblivion (and some in Morrowind) that a lot of people got a laugh out of (and maybe some frustration) were the taunts/ trash talk that hostile NPCs would sling toward you. Depending on which race was talking and being talked too, there was all kinds of trash talk while battling NPCs. Since I couldn't find a topic on the subject, thought I'd start one.

A couple of lines I was thinking of were:

Toward a khajiit.
"Aw! Sourpuss got his/ her fur all bunched up?"
or
"Aw! Sourpuss got his/ her fur all tied in a knot?"

I think, "Hahaheh! You move like a pregnant cow!" could be changed to "... You move like a pregnant guar!"

What are some of the trash talk one liners people wanna see come back?
Which ones need to go?
And which new ones would people like to hear?

I'm torn on this. While it's hilarious to hear a guard yelling at mudcrabs "Am I supposed to be impressed?" and "Why won't you die?!"... it really is kind of stupid.

One of us is going to die here,and it wont be me!! *dies*

I still love that one. The best trash talk in oblivion was at the start of the game.

"What's the matter cat got your tongue?"

Yep, I always enjoyed that.

I liked very much how in MW the dark elves told u stuff like "bothersome creature", "stop bothering me". This voice / tone was great!, made u scared of trying a conversatrion.

You Elves are all the same. All flash and no fury. :wub:

Altmer to nord player:
"What's the matter? You're looking rather... pale, snowman!"


Dunmer woman in MW: "NOW YOU DIE!"
... in OB: "WHY...WON'T...YOU...DIE!"
... in Skyrim: "DIE ALREADY!!!!!"
Wonder if there will be a progression in Skyrim?

For me it's one of the funniest features of a game; especially if the Npc's have more personality, I think it'd be great.

I think a good new one would be if they start telling dead baby jokes in the middle of a fight.

When I'm playing with and taunting a character and he's loosing badly to me, he shouldn't be taunting me. Never made sense to me. Should be more special depending on how the fight is going.
