Please tell me someone owns a server? Or can host? My ports don't open and my connection is >750kb so everyone would lag.

I'll be up for the weekend game, if you guys will tell me how in the devil I'm supposed to connect to the server. I couldn't for the life of me figure it out last weekend...what do I do with the IP? Not like there's an obvious menu for that.

Go to your Favorites tab, click Add Server (or something similar to this) and type the IP address into the box. The server should then appear in the list. Or you can connect via console, which is just: connect "IP address here without quotes."

I have a 54 Mbps connection (That's what it says when I went to my network status thing). My actual download speeds are much slower.

And I can do port forwarding.

So I suppose I'm available to host if necessary.

I've hosted on a home network and though it works for a few players, the more that join the more it will lag.

If everyone was from the US/Canada it would probably work fine, but I had people from (This forum.) Australia, and England. And I already see at least 1 person that was there here. (Hi Mungo :wave:)

So, I'd suggest you use one of DF's (Drunken Fool at SourceOP.) empty servers.

Also, thanks for the trip down the memory lane, Wolfcp. I remember that. Certainly was fun.

I remember beating up a dev (Think it was Dan Ross, not 100% sure though) who was a Medic, while I was a scout. Very close battle, as I recall.

We really should try and arrange that again. T'was fun.

Yeah, we suggested it to Gstaff (Think it was Lucius who put it forward) and a match was set up by him. I remember that Wolfpup, Wolfcp and I was playing, not too sure who else. Funny thing was, we asked them about FO3 and they refused to say anything.

One of the devs has some screenies of the games, but I've forgetten who he was, and those screenies are probably long gone by now.
