just got steam and tf2 back up and running down here. still have sorta crappy internet, so my ping is never lower than 100 :sadvaultboy: . it works good enough, but hopefully will be better soon. been playing the past couple nights. joined the tes group. steam id is goat_slug, nickname {Я@T} ?l?gg?h?gσ?τ . feel free to add me to friends, or join in a game if you see me on. i usually play medic or heavy. and sometimes a suicidal pyro.

Anyone else having issues with TF2? Every time I open it, STEAM.exe fails and needs to close. It's annoying.

Mine is working fine, albeit a bit slower than usual on startup.

Anyone have any idea what time we are planning to play this weekend? I'm hoping I can work it in between hanging out with friends and the like.

Side note-- Is anyone trying out the new Steam UI beta? I am and I think it's absolutely wonderful.

I'm busy Friday night, but I'm free all Saturday during the day and all night.

Wait, what servers are these? Most of those US, non-Europian ones give me a ping above 150, which makes airblasting/axtinguishing clearly impossible.

The SourceOP servers are based in Texas.

This is why it is hard to set these up in a place like this. (People from all over the world.)

Got really pissed of playing on my favourite public 2fort server today, there were no medics on the team, so I switched.
Then red built a base in our sewers, and everytime I would get to around 70% ubercharge, whoever I was healing would rush in and try to take down the sentries, get killed, then the heavies would rush after me and kill me.
Rinse repeat ad nauseum.

That was a phenomenal show of skill in both TF2 and video editing.
