If by 'near future' you mean in a few minutes, then yes.

What do you play on VatzBalerg?

I dont really play enough to have a regular server i play on.
I usually try to find a euro server with crits and damage spread disabled, or join whatever my friends are playing in.

I'm currently reinstalling the Orange Box. I haven't played TF2 since shortly before the scout update I think it was, so I've got a lot of new stuff to see.

You will see a ton of spam. So much spam..... *Goes and cries in a corner*
I think the spamming of the huntsman and demoman's weapons have lessened though.

Indeed, Spam Fortress 2 is nuts. It was nuts before the updates, and even worse now that snipers can spam. (Or fire&forget.)

Huntsman annoys me like no tomorrow. Lamest of the lame in weapons. Sniper to me denotes skill, not spam.

And it's very much prevalent, unfortunately.

Yeah, Luckspam is annoying, but there's a thing I like to do - While as a Heavy, fire your minigun at them, they'll be constantly recoiling, and their arrows will be way off course. That also works on the snipers on the 2forts battlements.
Doesn't work for Snipers that are remotely skilled though.

EDIT: I'm getting pretty good at Soldier and Scout, with 75-ish hours and 98 hours respectively. I've been training constantly on my RJ-ing on maps made specifically for that, and I've been playing ctf_bballv2, which is like a TF2 version of Basketball, you pick up the intel and you have to RJ to the opposite hoop in order to score.

tr_walkway_rc2 is also fantastic for practising air-shots as Sniper, Demo or Soldier.

Don't pub, if you're unhappy with spam...

True enough, but it is were all my friends play. Pug-ing (6v6) is a bit boring after awhile.

I guess it's just easier to pub than pug. No organization needed. (IRC/people/etc)

Haha, after hours of trying, I finally compression blasted a sniper with his own arrow :flamethrower:

Twice in one life!

First time was an assist, second time was a headshot.
This deserves some Beastie Boys. :intergalactic:

Yer. I prefer the flare gun. The burning makes their aim jump.

I dont think the new weapons are to blame for the annoying spam. Okay, they might have made it a little worse, but the real problem is that the maps aren't suited for 32 or even 24 players imo.

Anyone familiar with TF2Lobby?

Yes. Great way to organize pug games.

24 is pushing it but acceptable. Problem is the majority of the servers are 32. Especially the ones all my friends/regulars play on.

The stats of my best lives as Demo/Spy/Sniper/whatever do not update besides the time spent playing. Many times I have beaten this or that score in a life, but it just doesn't seem to register. Any advice?

The 119th update is basically nothing.

The 118th update on the other hand was STUPID.

They made the Heavy even more powerful. He can spin his Minigun faster and move faster while it's spinning.

And I just noticed this a couple days ago but his Sandvich heals him to 100% in a couple seconds.

Well that's just great. I haven't played TF2 in a while but I need to get back into it.
Heavys are going to start to be extremely annoying now.

I love all the heavies. The majority of people that play heavies just stand still and fire their gun. It's a sniper's paradise :celebration:
