Hey just did a fresh Oblivion install and was looking up some quest mods.

Which mods do I need to download to get all the RTT and ToTF stuff, and what order do they play in? I only used to know about RTT and missed... The Legacy and The Butcher of Armindale, and on top of that I have no idea what they are/were lol.

Ive downloaded ToTF but the guide and readme's dont really explain how it relates to RTT, and if it comes before or after it(I didnt read any of the walkthrough because I dont want to spoil much).

RTT = RTT
TOTF = The Legacy and the The Butcher of Armindale combined with some extra quest added to them. To see how Allecia and the butcher are related I would say just play the mod to find out.

The correct play order, if I recall correctly, is to start with TOTF and then do RTT.

I don't think they have any intermingling quests. Been a while since I played them though...

RTT and TOTF have only one very very minor intertwining story line.

Malevolent (another mod by Simyaz) features a character from TOTF
The correct playthrough would thus be TOTF-> RTT -> Malevolent

I agree with Apophis, that's a pretty even handed way to play the story line.

Also, please do yourself a favor and read the storyline addition in the readme AFTER you play TOTF. (Not the install or gameplay aspect, but the ending storyline). It brought chills to me and clearly had the authors best intentions in mind.
