Okay so I'm currently indecisive between Nvidia and ATI.
My top choice so far is the NvidiaGTX 560M. Can anyone recommend me anything better from ATI or should I just stick to the 560M.
Also, could anyone actually give me an indepth comparison between Nvidia and ATI? as far as I'm concerned Nvidia has a lot better durability but the ATI's I've had seem to really pump out a lot more power than what they're stated to be.

ati dont always work well with this game. in benchmarks a comparibly priced ati will outdo an nvidia at the moment, which is why i bought ati. pity its not been great with brink so far. hopefully new drivers will help.

btw - you can get a 480 for the price of a 560 and they are more powerful, maybe worth looking at?

also, if you are wanting to play bf3 later in the year i would suggest spending a bit more now on say a 570, or waiting a couple of months for the newer cards, the older ones will drop in price then

ive had nvidia for years without issues. wishing i had bought a 570 or 480 SE now as i only play brink at the moment.

yeah, just had a look on the website, and your right. the 480 is a lot more powerful.

You'll get more bang for your buck with ATI...that being said, if you want to get this card for brink, get NVIDIA.

Are you talking about buying a laptop with an "Nvidia or Ati" card in it? or a card for your PC? because replacing a card in a laptop is a pain if it can be done at all...

it's not really a pain. its just a pain in the ass to find a place that actually sells laptop graphics cards.
I might just go with ATI, its not just for Brink really. plus they'll eventually bring out the updates that ATI need in order to run brink.

With that being said, (as I'm not really well informed of the ATI gpu) can anyone recommend me a gpu within a $500-$700 range from ATI?
