As an unemployed radio announcer, I now would like to call upon the power of the internet to get me a job. Go internet!

http://www.latimes.com/news/la-me-ted-williams-20110112,0,7966433.story is him going "back to his old tricks" to you?

Arguing with his estranged daughter, probably one of the reasons they didnt talk for X amount of years? Is this a new trick?

My issue was with the fact that you made it seem as if he had done something terrible, while also not linking to a news story, leaving a negative impression on the people who didn't bother finding out why exactly he was arrested.

A new trick is him actually seeing his daughter again. The fact that they got into a heated argument is no surprise, given their history. But at least he's attempting to contact his family again.

It's only a one-day rehab. He's addicted to alcohol and he is taking the correct steps and that is a good thing.

For an addict trying to get their life back in order,"falling off the wagon" usually is part of the process of recovery. I would hope that this apparent relapse of his will be just that; a part of his recovery, and that he would continue in his quest of living life clean and sober. It will be alot harder on him now that the spotlight is on him, not always the best thing for an addict trying to get it together.

My blood father has abandoned and had no part in my life period, and neglects all attempts to my trys at contacting him. Am I to automatically spread hate and anger about any father who want's to become a part of their kids life because he made bad decisions? Honestly, you're letting bias get the best of you.

You obviously have no Idea just how hard it really is to kick an addiction once and for all. For someone who has been drinking or drugging for as long as Mr Williams has, to just stop without ever falling off the wagon is a very unrealistic expectation. People like this really have no clue how to live a normal life without alcohol or drugs, that is something that they will have to relearn how to do. The fact that Mr. Williams is entering rehab is a good sign.

You really should try not to be so harsh and judgmental of people

I hope hope you find enough compassion one day to forgive others for their mistakes. Who knows, one day you might be the person in need of help, or forgiveness. What will you do then if other people treat you the way you treat people yourself.
