Teens?

The thing with topics like these is that it's very easy for us as consumers to say "just do it, sod the consequences", but the reality is that any PR blowout from something like this would incur serious financial hardships on Bethesda. While I'd like to think that the world is ready and willing to take responsibility for mature content in video games the fact of the matter is that it's not. It seems that the interactive nature of videogames means that subjects that are acceptable in books and cinema are deemed unacceptable in games.

If a game is rated 18+ it doesn't make a difference to who actually gets to play it. I've seen parents buy games like GTA for their 6 year old children because "games are toys", then they blame Rockstar for introducing their kids to [censored] and murder. These are the same people who would never let their kids watch an 18+ rated movie, or read an erotic novel.

It's no wonder developers skirt these things when the majority of people have proven they cannot be responsible with the content and who accesses it. Rockstar can get away with it because it's what they're known for, unfortunately Bethesda is not, and is therefore not equipped to correctly handle the backlash, that and it's not so obviously satirical in a Fallout game.

I don't need they protect themselfs... I'm under the impression that the super mutants don't attack them. They let time live and attack them after they moved to Great Town. Why should they turn children into mutants? Little Lamplight is something like a farm for the mutants...

Kill them? Turn them over your knee, and give them the spanking they so richly deserved? I think there was only one gal (aside from the adoptable kids) in whiterun that wasn't a total brat. (the one vendors daughter, can't recall her name.) Whatever possessed Beth to make kids obnoxious little [censored], and unkillable at that, is beyond understanding.

Kids are obnoxious in real life every second of every day. I think they drew from that lmao. Wasn't there some legal thing preventing them from making them killable? Or was that just Beth's decision?

I think it's just showing kids killed in games and movies is taboo. No law against it that I know of.

More important question: Can we enslave People... sixually?

Most likely not, but the ability to [censored] as well as pillage would be sweet!

Town to town - [censored] and impregnate.

Come back a month later; you're a father, and the mother had mutations that accellerate gestation.

We had adoption in Skyrim: E3 showed that hybrid babies can be generated in game, so why not?

What friend? Daggerfall had children and Redguard had teenagers, obese, and elderly npcs. Also, I think scaling advlt models, with a basic body types slider is an adequate enough way to portray teenagers in FO4.

Man [censored] is just not something I want to be able to do in a game. That's just horrible.

Hey folks, we don't even allow discussion of killing kids on this forum.

http://www.gamesas.com/topic/724862-forum-rules-and-general-information/

So please don't do so or this thread will be closed and warnings will be issued.

I always assumed the residents of Big Town were teenagers, 17-20 in age or so.

But really, it's a non-issue with me. There are kids, and then there are those who are not kids. The lack of...middle-heighted NPC's of teen status doesn't make the wasteland any more alive, or desolate to me than it would if they were present.
