Telekenisis

Post » Wed Mar 30, 2011 10:17 am

Have you ever used Telekinesis on a Daedric Claymore in Oblivion and launched it at an enemy in Oblivion? The problem with telekinesis is that it almost impossible to turn the object you are using, tossing claymores at enemies may be fun but its not very effective at hurting them, and it takes some serious skill to accurately hit your target.

If Bethesda could fix these problems I would use telekinesis ALL THE TIME. Would you?

Two words. Havok Behavior.

I'll definitely be checking telekinesis out.

I'd use Telekinesis with any type of character, if Bethesda makes it awesome.

You could actually hurt people with telekenisis? I only used it to steal things easier if the shopkeeper was in the room. If they could do this I would definately use it. Or even better if we could pick up our enemies and fling them everywhere!

I can't wait to see how this turns out. I wonder if it'll be anywhere near as good as Euphoria, I don't see why they didn't go with that.

They say Havok Behavior is the most sophisticated animation tech right now, so it should be better than Euphoria.

I honestly never used telekinesis in Oblivion once I figured out it was only worth using in helping to steal things. So I definitely want it to be improved so that it will add more variety in spells.

Be even cooler if when we picked up a sword and launched it at someone if it could impale them on a wall.

I used vanilla telekinesis in Oblivion for a street performing illusionist build. Could it have more dynamic impacts? Sure, as long as it doesnt lose its RP benefits and become a senseless weapon.

Euphoria should be on every game x( it's the best dinamic system out now. Havok is very nice, but i don't know. Of course, maybe it's updated, and now contains everything that's needed, but I'm kinda sure Skyrim wont be as dinamic as GTA4 for example. I hope they really push Havok! xP
