Tell me about your first character

Mammus: Dunmer, Failed Incarnate, and Dwemeri magic fetishist. He took a direct hit from the Ministry of Truth. His hands, eyes, lungs, heart, and feet are enchanted prostheses. It's going to take some time to model Kagrenak's tools and [censored], but I'm going to.

Breton, Imperial, or Dark Elf.

As always I'll have a stealth based character. Mainly I'll use marksman, alchemy, sneak/security, short blades (duel wielded of course  ). I might use a destruction spell in one hand and a dagger in the other, or maybe a little illusion for invisibility.

All my TES games first characters are Bosmer assassins so I plan to carry on the tradition!

Pilgrim is a Nordic Sage. He was once a proud Nordic warrior that fought for his clan in the civil war. After years of fighting that did nothing, but take from him his family. He leaves his grandfather's armor and his sword and shield behind. He begins to wander the land. In his travels he rediscover the magical training his Breton Grandmother once tried to teach him. He embraces magic and become a powerful Mage mastering all aspects of it. He forgoes fame, fortune, loot and gear for a more simply existence. He helps others when they need it.

When he hears the call the of dragon, he meets his destiny with quiet acceptance.

Brilliant RP material. I have a soft-spot for old, weary characters as opposed to bright-eyed heroes. Plus the new classless system will probably treat your guy well. Good luck, Pilgrim.

Depending on how the game turns out, I'll probably go with an altmer mage or an axe wielding nord, playing through the main quest and discovering the world.

I'll wait with my definite playthrough til' the modding community has done their thing.
I have just always found it hard to roleplay the assassin the way I want to in the vanilla versions of these games ^_^

A young curious breton girl with a urge to see the world. She's very smart and likes to craft unique things.
She's from a rich family and her parents are pure elitists ... as a daughter she doesn't meet the high espectations of her parents and was constantly talked down upon. She's really idealistic, sweet and shy, in stark contrast to her parents.
They never have gotten along or had an unterstanding for each other. Time after time the young girl becomes more and more depressed and cold hearted. A good friend of her advises her to leave her family and the town for a while. She discovers that she doesn't really care for her family, decides then to travel around a bit and get a good taste of freedom.

Her skills:
Marksman : Hopefully they add one handed crossbows. (dual wield ftw!)
Enchant : To make her ranged attacks really powerful and boost her defenses, too.
Heavy Armor : So that she can take a lot damage.
Conjuration : Summon help or distraction... perhaps soultrap or dominate the minds of others, too
Alchemy : She'll have a poison / potion for every situation ...
Swords : For a bit for meleeing...

First char: Dunmer: Battlemage with blades and destuction as my main focus, and Spear if it comes back(likely)
Second: wood elf: Bow, blade, sneak, illusion, he will basically be an assassin.

My first character will be who I make in all fantasy RPGs. Trannigan Drattmer, an Imperial mercenary who is mostly a fighters build aided by destruction magic.

My first lore friendly character will be a descendant of my Argonian hero, Sun-Scale. Not sure what skills I will give him yet, I'll figure that out while I'm playing him.

I'm torn between an Imperial rogue, or an Imperial Knight. At least I've decided on a race.

Usually I play a warrior like character my first go, and I have always have fun doing it. So my rationale for playing an Imperial Knight would be to keep to my traditions. The rogue came up because I wanted to try out the new dual wielding system. Plus, it would be a change from my usual play style from hack-and-slash, goodie-two-shoes warrior to a more stealthy rogue troublemaker.

I can't make up my mind.

Argonian, specializing in Magic of the offensive variety along with enchant(so long as they have fixed it), Marksmanship, and Stealth. Probably named Zephyr with a mix of Black/Neon Green/Blood Red colour markings.

Well, I can only assume the reason why he would hate her at first... because she'll destory everything around her if it bothers her because she's a bit... cold hearted? ;)
(Dragon's too then... and the mess she always causes ... icky XD)

Unless one of the other races becomes more appealing, probably a thieving Khajiit named Rajhin-Dar who uses a bow primarily but will slice up your face with a thin knife if, by some miracle, you get close to him. An alcoholic who occasionally dabbles in skooma, he's known for making bad decisions and getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time. One of these bad decisions will be to be changed into a vampire or a werewolf, whichever appeals to me more at the time.

My favorite character to play was an Argonian Shadowscale named Nelix Blood-Throat. He was black skinned with a blood-red throat, had huge horns, and pretty much tried to blend into society by wearing civilian clothes in towns. I usually made him wear the Deceivers' Finery so he could appear like some sort of noble or something. At night, he'd wear Dark Brotherhood Armor and wield the Ebony Blade and go on murdering sprees.

I might revive him or make a Nord Barbarian or something, or perhaps some kind of Khajit or Dunmer hunter or druid.

An Argonian Agent from the the now overrun Morrowind. A mage at heart, sent to infiltrate the magic organisation of Skyrim and act as a sleeper agent. Prejudiced against all Dunmer.

He was caught crossing the border into Skyrim illegally with a Dunmer Slave in tow. He was consequently arrested for this action and was transfered to a prison in the south (presumably south is where we will be starting)
