Tell me about your first character

Post » Tue Oct 05, 2010 12:42 pm

A khajiit named Naheem, barely out of euh... kittenhood, so he's young. He did something stupid involving stealing and ended up in jail (need to flesh this out more, waiting for more information on how the game starts). I plan to turn him into a mostly stealthy thief/assassin, a bit anti-social and a rabid collector of bones and skulls, as a tribute to my assassin Khajiit in Oblivion. Naheem will probably be a descendant of that one.

And as soon as I figure out how to retexture characters I'm going to give him a nice snow-leopard coat, unless Bethesda decides to be even more awesome than they already are and give the Khajiit a standard 'Syberian tiger' coat. Even so, I still want him to look like a snow leopard. :P

probably a nord, maybe an imperial. i will be focusing on RPing as i always have done, so story line wont be my main concern at first. probably a trustworthy peasant-type.

Well, I can only assume the reason why he would hate her at first... because she'll destory everything around her if it bothers her because she's a bit... cold hearted? ;)
(Dragon's too then... and the mess she always causes ... icky XD)

Well, Ashlanders firstly have prejudice problems...not sure there are very many people who don't fall into their "dislike" category; and they're also about complete opposites. :)

Or, you know, maybe a gender flipped version; it depends on how malleable I find the character customization process. *stares at Fallout 3*

Either way, there will be insane acrobatics. And explosions. And dancing. And coats. I hope there is cloth physics. :>

My first guy will most likely be a Breton or Imperial male battle mage. Unoriginal but effective.

idk what race will I choose, most likely it will be Imperial, Dark elf or Orc. But in any case first time i will use heavy armor, one handed long swords, shields and may be destruction magic. But first of all I check every race apearence to see what was changed

Well it's hard to say. Seeing as there are no longer any classes, probably just whatever works out best. Probably a rogue / assassin type character, though. Also, it's confirmed that there are only 10 playable races. So, the mystery is - which one is being cut? That might also change my choice.

My character is Vanir Greenwood. He is a bosmer escaping from Valenwood because of all the violence that is happening there and travels to Skyrim hoping to start a good life but then the dragons appear and is thrust into war. His lineage is that of agents/assassins that goes all the way back to Oblivion Crisis. His skills are Sneak, Lockpicking, Light Armor, Marksman, Speechcraft ( to decieve people with politeness so they do not I'm an Assassin  ), Short Blade for quick and up close assassinations, and Mercantile.

I love the background stories people give their characters.
Is a Nord/Argonian hybrid possible.

Nord Woodsman

Birth Sign: Lady

I will always pick stanima and never health or magicka(maybe a little). I want to sprint long distances and have a glass cannon/hit and run character.

Skills:

one handed- one handed hatchet/shortsword.
marksman- bow/ or spear if their in then it will be 2 handed.
alchemy
sneak
acrobatics

His mother was full blooded nord and his father is imperial. He is was born in one the anti-empire villages and is looked down due to his imperial side of the family.
He has sought out a life for himself as a gaurd and then took to wandering for awhile.

Certainly, most likely there would be of alot amusing quarrels between the two... but... she's normally not easily bothered and very calm. If he disliked her or she disliked him for some reason, she would just ignore him. He must be b*tching really hard to get a reaction from her. And she would not be very nice to him in return. ;)

Probably a heavy armor mage/warrior type who carries a sword and shield. Or maybe a Light armor dual weilding Khajiit. Haven't really thought about it much yet.

I like playing with as much magika I can have so usually I play Breton or Altmer. I would love to play Argonian, but I find my play style, doesn't have enough magika to play a mage mostly character.

I just might to do something different, is play an Argonian this time and that shoud make it feel like a complete different game. When I played Breton or Altmer in Oblivion, it felt like I did this before.
So Argonians for me in Skyrim.

My first character will be a Nord named Brom, and if Birthsigns are still around, he'll be born under The Warrior. He'll be combat focused, generally going in heavy with big two-hander, or dual weapons, though he'll stick to lighter armors. He'll be proficient at smithing, and may dabble in some alchemy.

At some point though, I want to create a spellsword. In Oblvion and Morrowind, it just never felt like I could play one properly due to how casting spells was handled.

My first character will be a nord named Ragnar Fire-Eyes. A distant relative to my one of my Oblivion characters. He has a slight amount of Imperial blood in him, but he's a full blooded nord at heart. If there were still classes he would most likely be a Warrior.

My second will be Vael'Shen Sorayne. He's the son of a former Hand of Almalexia, and has grown up in the ashlands without his parents. He's a grim, and cynical Dunmer who lacks empathy, and has a strong prejudice for Argonians. He'll probably end up as a dual wielding spell sword.

Neravarine II!
I'll eventually mod in a an argonian with some golden scales.

This is the story:
When the Neravarine goes to Akivir( Mine was an Argonian) he meets a Tseasci, and boom, you get Neravarine II. Half Argonian, half Tsaesci.

No, I kid, I'll make an orc mage.
Wood elf warrior
or high elf rouge, All balanced, wouldn't you agree? :P
Spoiler
Im actually going to make an argonian duel wielding(katana) samurai!

M-I-Y-A-M-O-T-O M-U-S-A-S-H-I
*better be katana's. Damn dragons, damn katanas!

I will be an Imperial male, name Vasilli Dmytryk, and I'll probably be a warrior with restoration and sneak, not sure what kind of armor type yet though, depends on what fur armor looks like.

It's hard to say right now... I need to see the character models first...

I'm either gonna be a combat oriented Nord or a stealth oriented Dunmer.

It will either be the Jimmy Converse VIII, or Gren Gieger VIII. Jimmy was my Oblivion character who is going to be using dual long blades and heavy armor, and Gren, my Morrowind who is going use either dual long sword or dual axes and which ever armor category bear fur armor falls under.

I'm not sure if he's going to be my first character, but I'm definately going to take the time to make one of my characters look like http://www.myspacelayz.com/import/graphics/movie-posters/Conan-the-Barbarian_poster.jpg

I also did this in Oblivion and it was a lot of fun.

1 - Argonian
2 - Breton
3 - Dark Elf

5 - Imperial
6 - Khajiit
7 - Nord
8 - Orc
9 - Redguard
10 - Wood Elf

Depends on what "feels right" at the char creation screen.. but my main fallbacks are usually nord knight/paladin type (plate, little bit of healing magic) whos also a werewolf (tormented hero is cliche but fun to rp), and a spellblade-type klepto khajiit.
