Tell me about your first character

Post » Tue Oct 05, 2010 6:30 am

The first time you play, what will your character be? I will be an Argonian, as always. He specializes in close quarters combat (blade/blunt) and blocking.

And if you want, you can tell me:
Do you have plans for a second character?

Argonian as well. Specializing in long distance Marksmanship, Sneak, Alchemy, and Short Blades for close quarter combat.

Wood elf. Rogue style character. Skooma Addict of course.

Antivia Skoomanova or Jack. Haven't decided yet.

My second character will probably a female Breton warrior most likely.

A Nord Barbarian/berserker/whatever, (doesn't really matter since the classes got scrapped anyway.) Called Jynthor Baneblood. He will use two handed weapons and will just be the stereotype Barbarian badass.
My second character will maybe be a female Dunmer Archer/mage.

Creed Azkali, Vampire passes off as a Imperial / Redguard wicked with swords, a little magic here and there tuffled with creatures of all kinds, currently sleeping until whatever earth shattering event wakes him from slumber, namely the beginning of Skyrim :D or any pre-events detailed beforre the start of the game

First character will be a Nord warrior, play through the game and get the feel of everything. Then my second character will be a Khajiit assassin/thief, probably be my main rp character. Then my third will be a mage of some sort.

Argonian Necromancer. As close to that archetype as possible. He'll primarily use summons for defense and cast Destruction spells for for the offensive. I'll take spears if possible but staves if not....unless magic is to the point it can stand on it's own without the need for it. Alchemy for potion creation to keep stocked up on needed magika refill pots.

Can't wait to see what Argonians look like and the cosmetic options available for armor/robes for him!

Male Imperial named Kyle. He'll be my noobie character who falls into all the pitfalls of first time players. I'll try a little bit of everything with him while avoiding the main storyline as much as I can.

First proper character who I intend to take on the main story with will be a female, either Breton or Redguard named Maria or Izabelle respectively. I'll use the knowledge gained from Kyle's sessions to both give them a head start in the world and to choose what to specialise in. Most likely I'll be specialising in marksman though, given that it's supposed to actually be a viable combat alternative to swords and magic this time around. Stealth will also be a major focus, as will illusion magic and the crafting/smithery aspects.

A Dark Elf named Raven. Hiding in the shadows will be the best path to take, and using stealth to kill silently will be the main bread and butter. Arrows from a distance, or a knife in the back will suffice with a bit of poison on the tip and some enchantments to boot. If the target is too powerful, sneaking by will suffice to get the treasure at the end. Light Armor will suffice as protection, as it will be light enough to not be noisy or to weigh down like heavy armor. Taking things from one village and selling it to another will make for great income, but just in case the locals get too suspicious a good reputation and some good deeds will help keep everyone nice and calm while being none the wiser.

In short, Thief/Assassin with a hint of Alchemy/Enchanting to help boost stats and make life easier. Will do good deeds to keep the locals all nice so looting and assassinating will not have as great of an impact as it normally would... hopefully.

Khashimbaal, the slim, fresh-faced Dunmer street kid of Ashlander heritage who now finds himself in the cold, bewildering land of Skyrim. Can he find a place among (one of the many) traditional enemies of his people?

Dunmer Battlemage. I know classes have been removed but you know what I mean, but I will replace blunt with enchant and alchemy with restoration.
Who is an Ashlander.
With the REAL voice.
And he done take his skooma through the good pipes. :bonk:

Breton Mage, Great Grandson of my CoC. Somehow in those generations some dragonblood was mixed in there, or maybe the CoC had some all along :shifty:

Pilgrim is a Nordic Sage. He was once a proud Nordic warrior that fought for his clan in the civil war. After years of fighting that did nothing, but take from him his family. He leaves his grandfather's armor and his sword and shield behind. He begins to wander the land. In his travels he rediscover the magical training his Breton Grandmother once tried to teach him. He embraces magic and become a powerful Mage mastering all aspects of it. He forgoes fame, fortune, loot and gear for a more simply existence. He helps others when they need it.

When he hears the call the of dragon, he meets his destiny with quiet acceptance.

Breton, pure mage. Blaze through the main quest and any other quests I like the look of, then start a new game as my Argonain- Haa-Rei (or a relative to correspond with the time.) and do some roleplaying. Will probably make some other characters in between to do other quests e.t.c Basically what I have done with Morrowind and Oblivion.

Nord muscle/assassin. Kind of a Riddike character. Can handle heavy weapons, wears medium (please be back!) Or light armor, and handles in trying to not raise the alarm.

Chances are he will be a outlaw of one province or another and want to take over some organization for his ends, and if possible assassinate some kings and dukes.

Male Imperial Ranger, named Faranor, with bow and dual wielding swords, and stealth, alchemy, restoration and whatever detect life is in now as well. He is the 8th descendant of my Oblivion character, Aramir Wintersun, and is young and a bit brash, but he is also experienced, spending much of his time out in the wilderness.

Nord barbarian with some expertise in Enchanting. Might do some slight roleplaying on him

Breton mage/stealth user who I will use for most of my roleplaying.

I love this part of the game and reading these ideas, it makes the experience so much more fun. I have lots of recurring characters from when I really got into designing them in Daggerfall/Morrowind. When I think of the environment of this game the first thing that crosses my mind are Nordic characters. One being a tall, fiery redhead type named Kaye, usually a crusader (so maces and heavy armour since the classes have been scrapped?), and the other a pure berserker/barbarian called http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Hafrsfjord.
