I've always known that the Telvanni are not the religious type, and know that some of them like Divayth Fyr have traveled through the realms of Oblivion. I also remember in Morrowind the blatant disregard they held for the Tribunal, i.e. copies of the "Homilies of Almalexia" burning in a fire.
My question is: Do the Telvanni revere any of the Daedra? To me Hermaeus Mora being the Daedric Prince of Forbidden Knowledge, is an obvious choice. He can give a Telvanni great power and understanding.
In the Dragonborn DLC. Master Neloth, warns the player about not getting too comfortable in Mora's realm. He warns the player about how Mora ensnares his victims with the promise of power.
My other question is: Divayth Fyr is no doubt an ancient and powerful wizard. How is it possible that he can consort with the Daedra in their own realm, and return home unscathed?
Another question: Divayth Fyr says that within the Psijic Order, there maybe older and more powerful wizards than him. Now traditionally Altmer don't deal with Daedra. How is it possible they are so powerful, without daedric intervention?
So basically, how can powerful wizards make deals with Daedra without selling their souls? How is it they are able to keep the Daedra at bay?
