I'm starting a new playthrough as a young Telvanni wizard. I have made a Dunmer who looks pretty good and have some ideas about a good playthrough but was hoping people could suggest some ways I could roleplay this character and improve the build.

At the moment I'm thinking he will mainly wear telvanni robes and telvanni shoes but whenever I try to play as a mage and get to a high level clothing just doesn't cut it for long against the likes of forsworn and bandit marauders with ebonyflesh or not, so I'm thinking he'll wear daedric armour in these situations. This fits in well with the lore as Divayth Fyr wears Daedric armor in Morrowind.

Have I taken any unneeded perks there or missed out on any that would be essential for this build? I don't have much experience with mage type builds at all.

Also the Telvanni shoes really don't seem to go with the robes at all. They clip badly and just don't seem like they are meant to be with them. The only person besides Neloth that has the robes is Ildari Sarothril and she doesn't seem to wear any shoes. What other types of shoes would go best with the robes?
