I dont know how much of a temp fix this is (or even if its acceptable) to you the player, but change your screen size to >>> CINIMA <<< via your remote control (for the TV) and no more black bars granted it does look slightly stretched but im thinking at present i can handle that better than the bars ill soon know once i hit a bit of game play.

I hope this helps somewhat assuming you havent tried this already.

Bumping topic for POLL, and hopefully some sort of responce as to if this was an acceptable fix for players...

I remember doing his on the snes, I had to open up the tv and do it internally, quite dangerous as it had to be on at the time. Ah the memories.

My tv doesn't have a cinema screen format, but there is one that make the screen ratio full and that is called zoom. Problem is...now the hud is not in view when i do do.

If they don't come out with a fix for these black bars we should all sue them, cause on all the videos they showed for this game before it was release not one of them showed those stupid [censored] black bars. If I and most of the other players would had know it had those stupid black bars we would had never gotten the game, so that is false advertising. Wake up people and start suing cause we just got tricked into buying a garbage game that could had been great if was finish properly.

I am already quite tired of things in this game, namely two bugs that have managed to completely ruin my fun, and i had plenty of fun at first. Yeah the black bars are nonsense, they can easily be removed i am sure. I remember footage of the very first chapter a while ago and i don't recall seeing black bars.

Well, I'm not one that would usually defend Bethesda, but the black bars have been in the gameplay for a while now, I can't comment on early ones, but later ones, sure. I just assumed they would be optional.

If there is a clear concise method being shown that people are not happy its POSSIBLE it will get fixed, but if no one puts forth it deffinatly wont.
