Does anyone here know how to join a templar order (in the game Daggerfall)? I haven't been able to find any in the game, yet.

Do you mean a Temple order or a Knight order?

Temples can be found in any big cities (identified by their city walls) and sometimes in medium-sized cities.

Knight orders are found most of the time in the capital city of a region. They are not present in every region though.

Actually, I'm looking for information on finding the "military arm" of a temple- the wiki calls the groups "Templar Orders".

I've looked around a lot of Tamriel, and can't seem to find out where to join them at.

I'm pretty sure you just go ahead and talk to the quest giver.

Templar orders are hard to come by. There's a Knights of Iron (Stendarr) in Sentinel's capital city, but that's the only one I know of. However, joining the templars of a temple is the same faction as the temple itself (as in, you can go to either and they treat you the same). Also, they give the exact same quests as the temple. It's a cool thing to come by one, especially for roleplaying purposes, but they aren't any different. One of those things that just didn't get finished, I suppose.

Their are still six Templar Orders that haven't been found yet. Btw, if anyone else is interested in searching for other Templar Orders, try selecting "Local Temples" when you talk to someone- templar orders will appear listed under section if one is present in the city.

Very cool! Thanks for the info. Before you made your thread, I never knew that Templar Orders existed. Even if they work the same way as Temples, a Paladin would be more willing to join a Templar Order than the Temple itself.
