Terra Guild Thread II

ooc: Don't forget Elbereth, Mr. Patrick. :P

ic: Jo smiled as he listened. When Pat was done, he laughed. "Born in the shower, eh? That must've been fun for your mum. As for me, I was born in Oregon in the United States, just after midnight. Mom said the nurses kept wanting to put bows in my hair since babies usually didn't have much of it when they were born. I think there was finally a compromise made that they could do it as long as they were blue." Jo laughed, running a hand through his dark gray hair, "I guess I never outgrew having a lot of hair, did I? It was a sort of mix between brown, red and blond before I became a furry, but I don't mind the gray. Rather like it, honestly."

Jo leaned against the wall next to the front door of the Guildhall as they got there and crossed his arms over his chest. "Biologically, I'm an only child, but I had a [censored]y stepsister when I left and my cat was like a little sister to me. I don't miss Earth much, really, I just miss the people and critters I knew there. Anyway, my parents got divorced when I was about thirteen or so and mom found a new boyfriend shortly after. She was really itching to get out of that marriage. It wasn't that my dad was a bad person, the two just got on each other's nerves constantly. I still spent time with both parents and they were on speaking terms with each other through me, but they lived on other sides of town from each other and my cat lived at mom's house, so I was there a lot."

Pausing, Jo opened the door and started inside. "I was starting college just before I got taken here. Sometimes I wish I could go back, but.. some part of me is happy here as well. I mean, I wouldn't have ever met Karst if I'd not come here and she's a wonderful friend, and seeing Tamriel in person is just amazing."

Looking about as he talked, the Khajiit noted the emptiness of the place, and he thought he heard a feminine scream come from someplace in the building. It gave him the creeps. "Well, this is creepy. The place can't be totally deserted though. I'm sure Karst's here somewhere.." Jo pulled off his backpack and set it down on a bench nearby, then started off towards the basemant. "I'm gonna go take a leak. You look for Karst for a bit and I'll join you in a minute or so."

OOC: Oops, sorry Frank. And I'm assuming considering that Trapped In was started this year, that now it's two years later, even though we're in Tamriel it would be 2010, right?

IC: Patrick laughed and nodded during Jo's story. He didn't know what it would have been like for him if he was an only child, to be the only one in a house with a parent seemed a very odd thing to think about. Not that he'd never been alone with just a parent before, but living without his brothers and sister seemed like a strange thing.

For all Patrick's thoughts of what the Fighters Guild would be like, he was severely disappointed. He imagined it would be like stepping into some sort of Viking longhouse, warriors testing their strengths against each other, people training, drinking, eating but the Guildhall was strangely empty. Jo moved over to a bench and placed his backpack down before explaining he needed to take a leak and set off toward the basemant. For some odd reason it reminded him of the scene in the first Jurassic Park when the man in the car runs away from the T-Rex into the toilet block, only to be eaten alive and the Dinosaur Man saying, "You gotta go, when you gotta go."

"Find Karst...right." Patrick looked around, another feline like growl or scream coming from upstairs. Frowning in confusion with intrigue and anticipation thrown into the mix, Patrick slowly went up the stairs tentatively. It felt like he was invading someone's home, his footsteps echoing slightly as he came up the stair case and onto the second floor landing. Resisting the urge to feel for his sword at his side, Patrick looked around, another small groan escaping from one of the doors. He approached it, hand on the knob. Taking a deep breathe, Patrick turned the knob and opened the door.

"Excuse me, do you know where...Holy sheet!! Uh, I, um...I'm very sorry. Karst!?" Patrick exclaimed, the door opening onto two bodies in the middle of interracial love. Patrick stepped back and slammed the door as quick as he could, wide eyed and breathing heavily. He grimaced and waited for one of the people inside to come out.

***

Elbereth looked at Frank, "Patrick explained a little how these "mobile phones" and such worked, but it still escapes me how such technology can exist without the use of magick. Anyway, I went to the Isles, like Patrick said before. A little over a week and we're the only who made it back sane or alive...Trust me when I say that you didn't miss out on anything that wasn't mind bending or deeply disturbing."

The Bosmer winced physically at some of the memories as they came flooding back. "But anyway, as for those strange black things, I think you should destroy them. I don't think everything can be explained by studying alchemy or travelling. Besides, if you've invented more or smarter than members of the Mages Guild they're more likely to be jealous and come up with some fandangled reason why they are charging you with something that doesn't matter or exist, if you know what I mean."

Karst was having the best time of her life in three painfully long years when Pat opened the door. She almost disregarded it as another member looking for an empty room and, considering that she couldn't care less in her enraptured state if someone saw her, ignored him until he spoke a split second later.

"Excuse me, do you know where...Holy sheet!! Uh, I, um...I'm very sorry. Karst!?" Pat exclaimed, then ducked out of the room as she swallowed a pleasured cry halfway to escaping her throat and looked over. Looking down at the Dunmer below her, she let out a sigh, which sounded odd mixed with her loud purring.

"Just.. just a sec, Radrin." she sighed, trying to catch her breath. Radrin nodded, smiling at her obvious reluctance to take a break to see what the person had wanted. Since the man knew her name, he could only assume that the two knew one another. Karst hoped off the bed and grabbed her coat, wrapping the long cloth garment around herself. Holding it shut with her left hand, Karst opened the door and stepped out. She was still a bit winded, her chest rising and falling rapidly and heart hammering in her ears, but she managed to speak.

"Sorry P.. Pat." Karst panted, shutting the door quietly behind her with her free hand and giving the man an embarrassed smile. "As lovely as it is to see you.. I can't help but feel.. that the timing of everything that's happened today and tonight.. was utter crap." After flashing a brief smile, she put her free hand to her chest and laughed. "Just a sec. I.. I need to catch my breath.."

The Khajiit leaned against the door for a moment and closed her eyes, letting her breathing slow and her purring die down. It only took her a minute to cool off despite how fast she'd been breathing before. "Sorry you had to see that." she apologized, sounding almost like she might be a mite embarrassed before laughing again. "Forgive the stereotyping, but you're a guy so I can't imagine you regretting it, though. Not really sure why I'm apologizing, really. Habit I guess." she added humorously. Crossing her arms over her chest, Karst turned and smiled warmly at Patrick. "So, what'd you need? I'm assuming you didn't come all the way here to just to say hello at almost midnight."

OOC: Is Karst totally Khajiit or is she more like N'Tasha? Also, is she completely naked because I would find that very distracting but I only hinted at what I see because I don't know what state of being dressed she's in.

IC: Patrick laughed awkwardly, not sure where to look when he spoke to the panting Khajiit. "Um, yeah, well I'm used to seeing human love not Dunmer and a Khajiit doing it right in front of me -- No offense of course, it's just very...odd. Anyway, umm..."

Averting his eyes and staring at his shoes as he kicked aimlessly into the floorboards, he continued. "Me and Jo are here. You said that if we needed to hide some stuff from the Mages Guild we could come to you. Wait, the pack's down stairs - dammit. Okay, how about a deal? I go get the pack and you go quickly finish up and I'll meet you downstairs with Jo in the foyer. I'll tell him not to come up."

IC: "You don't know what it's like," muttered Alexander to the mage. "I was not born in Mundus, and neither was she." Alexander watched as the mage jumped up and started yelling an incantation at Alexander, but it had no effect, as Alexander wasn't Daedric. "I am not from Oblivion or Aetherius. I- I'm from an entirely different world. Separated from this one by distances unimaginable. I do not know how I came to be here, but she, my love, was from our homeland too. It is a connection that literally spans worlds. You cannot have an idea what it is like."

The mage stared in confusion, and Alexander felt more memories returning from home - as if talking about it relieved a shadowy veil hiding the memories from being remembered. "What is that other world like?" continued the mage after a while, playing along with Alexander, thinking it was probably a delusion caused by Sheogorath's tricks.

ooc: She's got her coat held around her, a garment that hangs to about her ankles and hugs her sides when closed, held shut just below the briast from her crossed arms. You can see an insignificant bit of cleavage and that's it. When held shut at about briast level like when she came out clutching it with one hand, you can't see a single provocative thing unless you have a tail or foot obsession. :P Unless you meant completely naked under the coat, in which case the answer is yes.

To the other question: she's half Khajiit, half Dunmer. She's got clawlike fingernails (non-retractable and about half an inch long from the base of the nail) and an entirely elven face save for the fur and slitted eyes. Her Khajiit/humanoid breeding is the opposite of Tasha's: Tasha was a product of a Breton mother with a Khajiiti father and Karst had a Khajiiti mother and a Dunmeri father. Tasha was a Breton with Khajiiti features (slitted yellow eyes, sharp teeth, orange, furlike hair, clawed toes and some feline digestive and muscular systems) and Karst is a Khajiit with Dunmeri features (sharp, elven facial structure, blood red hair and a few more humanoid internal mechanics [she has periods and can sweat, for instance])

Does it all make sense now? :D

ic: Karst cackled at Patrick telling her to 'quickly finish up.' "Babe, if you waited for me to be done, you'd be here for hours." she laughed, "I'll take a break to come fetch the pack with you and say hi to Jo. It's not like I'm gonna try to hide this from him; he can be upset if he wants to so long as he knows my reasons before being pissed off." The Khajiit seemed to expect Jo'Rokku to not take the fact she was having six with people very well and sounded like she resented that fact a good deal. Without waiting for a yay or nay from Pat, she gripped her coat again in her left hand and started down the stairs to go pick up the pack.
_______
It'd taken Jo'Rokku a few minutes to even find the stinking bathroom and when he did it was just that: stinking. Knowing how meticulously Karst kept all of her household stuff clean, he doubted she'd ever seen the facilities here because they'd be a lot cleaner if she had. Considering everything else he knew about the woman, namely the fact that she could be covered in all sorts of dirt, sweat and blood and be perfectly happy, it seemed to odd to him, but he knew from experience that she'd rather hold it or go in the woods than use something as dirty as this.

But in all fairness she has to sit down just to piss so it makes more sense for her. Thank god I don't have to use the seat. Ugh..

When he was done, Jo pulsed a quick fire spell over his hands to sanitize them and headed back towards the ground floor.

OOC: Okay, all makes sense now :)

IC: Patrick smiled a little, his thoughts wandering as she mentioned how long it wold take her to finish her six session, not to mention the significant amount of cleavage that he could see. Despite being furry, he found the hairy bosom strangle arousing. Not to mention it had now been more than a six months since he'd done the deed with a willing and adventurous young barmaid in Skingrad, he was practically raging with pent up testosterone.

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts Patrick followed the Khajiit down the stairs. "Um, Jo should be around here somewhere. He went to go take a leak...Anyway, I'm sorry to bring you away from that but we all have a few things that we need to give you. I was going to say something, but now I can't remember...Jo? You here?" He hissed, his thoughts beginning to wander once again.

Frank sighed, squeezing his hands together. "You're right... but I've been wearing them in public for two years now. If I get rid of them, or the hat, it'll be obvious I'm hiding things. And I can't allow that to happen." Frank separated his hands and put them on the sides of his head, leaning forward.

"I hate politics. I hate feuds caused by greed or simple differences of cultural opinion. I know this guild has power over Savlian, for the great help we provided in the rebuilding of this city; but will it be enough?" He seemed to be talking aloud to himself now, looking at the ground. Finally he looked back up.

"I need to swing something. And it's getting late. You should be going to sleep now. The bottle right next to you is a cure disease potion. Take a sip of it before you rest. I'll be back to check on your condition during the night, and I won't turn on my alarm so you won't get rudely woken up in the morning." He told her, before heading towards the door. He had left the sunglasses on the table.

"Good night, Elbereth."

Karst looked over at Patrick through her peripheral vision as she walked and saw his eyes lower a bit. She followed his gaze to her chest and laughed. "Personally, I think my ass looks better than my chest." she commented casually, throwing him a crooked smile as they walked down the stairs. She obviously didn't care that he was ogling her.

Jo'Rokku came up from the basemant as they reached the end of the staircase and smiled at Karst's messed up hair and obviously hastily thrown on coat. "We catch you napping?" he asked with a laugh. Karst shook her head.

"Naw, I was wide awake." she laughed back, then jerked her thumb over her shoulder towards her room upstairs. "I've got company."

Jo raised an eyebrow. "I thought you said you weren't seeing anyone. I miss something in the last month?"

Karst shook her head. "He's.. an ex of mine."

Jo looked down a bit. "Oh.."

"Jo.. We broke up out of necessity, not because we wanted to. He had to go back to his guild in Morrowind to help them rebuilt after the Crisis and I couldn't exactly come with him, even if I'd wanted to. He was here on business and stopped in to say hello to me. I still care deeply for the guy -I mean he talked me out of slitting my wrist once for godsakes- and we haven't seen one another in three years. It's nothing serious; he's going home tomorrow night and it.. it just felt like the thing to do. I didn't mean it to seem like a slap in the face to you." she explained slowly and apologetically. Jo'Rokku smiled a little.

"It's okay. I need to let you go, really. It's just.. You're a really awesome girl and I'm having trouble not feeling at least something for you."

Karst smiled and, upon seeing the backpack, grabbed it and slung it over her shoulder just to be doing something. "It's okay. In all honesty, I kinda feel something for both you and Frank, but I'm just so damn afraid of getting my heart broken again.." she paused and looked over at Pat, "Sorry you gotta hear all this, Pat. Personal drama."

Jo'Rokku chuckled nervously and perked up a bit, but was still obviously envious of whoever was getting to bed her tonight. "Welcome to my life, Pat." he said in a dryly humorous manner, smiling slightly. "Don't worry about it Karst. Seeing you happy makes me happy, really. After all the crap you've had to put up with, you deserve some wildly indulgent moments." Both of them laughed, though Karst blushed a little as well.

"Well, I'm glad you're not mad. I better get back to Radrin before he wonders what I'm up to. Pat, bring the papers up and I'll stack them on the desk in there for you. If you guys need to drop anything else off, there's an empty barrel with a lid on it out back of the building: put the stuff in there and I'll check it when I wake up tomorrow. Sorry for all this trouble you two."

IC: "Much like this one, only there aren't as many races... Only Redguards, Nords, Imperials and Bretons... And a Dwemer level of technology... We also have windows to other worlds, called 'games'..." Alexander's explanation came harshly, as he suddenly had trouble to remember much. But he felt relieved that he could talk about it - the burden of his emotions seemed to lessen, and rationality settled in once more.

The mage stood up and exited the cell, walking towards the nearby Guard. "Merely a low-level delusion, shouldn't hurt him or other people. Release him."

He had left the sunglasses on the table.

"Good night, Elbereth."

Elbereth looked to the bottle standing on the nightstand before uncorking it and looking back to Frank. "Cheers -- hope it doesn't taste as bad as the last one." She took a small tentative sip and made a face but quickly got over it.

"Good night, Frank." She replied, getting under the covers. "Thanks for everything. I guess I owe you one."

Elbereth smiled warmly at him before wriggling a bit further down into the bed and closing her eyes and almost instantly sleep overtook her.

Karst looked over at Patrick through her peripheral vision as she walked and saw his eyes lower a bit. She followed his gaze to her chest and laughed. Patrick stood by awkwardly as Jo and Karst talked about a relationship he had been oblivious too, although to be fair he had never even heard of Karst until yesterday and he still didn't know Jo as well as he might. The Australian walked over to the bench and carefully picked up the pile of assorted papers, manuals and books and gave a small smile to Jo before heading up the stairs. Over his shoulder he said, "Well, everyone's got problems. It's good you two can work them out with diplomacy than, I dunno, going against each other behind your backs, poisoning the other's tea...whatever."

He shrugged carefully before following Karst up the stairs. "Hey, you know what I think we should do? Well, if he's not entirely opposed to it -- you know him better than me." Pat whispered. "We should get him laid by some willing and comely lass, it might prove good for him, you know?"

Then another thought popped into his head, "Hey, um, that guy isn't going to like pounce on me all naked because he thinks I'm you is he. If that's the case, can you go in first?"

OOC '@ below posts': Maybe we should, in similarity to location tags, have timescale tags to avoid confusion?

Location: Imperial Prison

IC: Alexander stepped out into the dark, nightly Imperial City. Though he was happy that he was free, he didn't quite know where to go- it was night, so most shops and such would be closed. In fact, he didn't really have a place to go, and he was quite tired. Maybe he could find somewhere to sleep in the Waterfront?

Wondering this, he wandered towards the docks.

ooc- Gil, as far as I know, it's still night. I'm kinda wandering around the Arboretum, twiddling my thumbs until morning comes to the Kvatch people. If you're willing to leave the prison at night we could get some interaction in now. Otherwise, I think Scow and I will be pretty much silent until morning comes, and you'll be right back in the no-interaction and time-skipping problems you had before.

OOC:Yes, Gilboron, please stop messing with the time like that.

IC:
With his room all to himself Ma'dat didn't know what to do. There wasn't much else he could get rid of in his room, and everyone else was pretty busy. And it was too late to try looking for a job to replace being in the temple (unless he wanted to try out for a certain underground guild). He plopped lazily onto his bed and just looked up at the ceiling, his thoughts racing as he tried to think of anything he missed. Sadly, he couldn't really think of anything as he had basically nothing to start with. The only things that could possibly bring trouble would be the stuff in that box, and it was currently safe with Pat and Jo.

"Well, I might as well get some sleep. The Mage's Guild might get suspicious if I'm all sleepy from staying up all night."

Taking ahold of his covers, Ma'dat snuggled underneath them and soon drifted off to sleep.

((Eh, I hate not having anything to do...))

If that's the case, can you go in first?"

ooc: I hope you knew that Karst is the type that would try something like that, Pat. This is gonna get strange with me playing both myself and a crazy catgirl working with you to try to get me laid. :P

Side note: Is it normal to play with the blood from random cuts that you get? I just realized that that might not be normal as I was just doing it.

ic: Karst snickered at Pat's question and suggestion. "No, Radrin won't pounce you, though I will go in first. As for the virgin cat back there, I've tried. He doesn't seem interested in just having a girl to sleep with. Wants a relationship. I say he's crazy." she told him, her tone casual as if she was discussing the weather, "But it might be worth another shot. I mean, it's been a whole year since I last offered to find him someone."

Jo'Rokku was hanging back, trying to catch what they were saying, but Karst obviously meant to keep what she was saying between her and Pat. He only heard snippets even with the help of his feline ears. I wonder what she's talking about that she doesn't want me to hear. Watching as Karst opened the door to her room and walked in, he came up to Pat. "What were you two talking about?" he asked curiously.

Karst, meanwhile, peeked in the door, spied Radrin and the two exchanged grins as she closed the door behind her, throwing the pack gently onto a nearby desk.

"What's in the bag, Karst?" the Dunmer asked, sitting up.

"Hell if I know. Just holding it for a pair of researcher friends of mine. They're poking around in tech the Mage's Guild doesn't like tampered with by outside factions and they've gotten pissy and issued a warrant to search their homes. I think it's bull, so I'm helping them cheat." Karst made up the lie on the spot. Turning back to Radrin, she added with a small and toothy smile, "And cover that thing up, I've got one of them dropping some papers off as well."

Radrin smiled and pulled the blankets over his nether regions as requested and Karst went to the door. She'd done up a couple of the buttons on her coat so it held together on its own, but the way it stood there was a good deal of cleavage and leg and just a little swatch of stomach visible through the gaps, none of which seemed to bother the Khajiit in the least. "Okay, Pat. You can come set the papers down." she told him, opening the door all the way and standing aside to let the Australian in.

Frank stood there for a moment, watching Elbereth as she fell to sleep and smiling warmly back, though now more to himself. She ain't that bad looking, really. Cute smile. Not much of a bust but then again when has that ever mattered to me? Gah! Hell, what am I thinking?! Frank's mouth drew into a taunt line and he slowly closed the door, making sure it was silent.

I healed her, sure, but I stand as much of a chance with her as with Karst, as with Gosia and Erika. The fact that, even after two years, he could remember the names of those two girls back on Earth, was a testament, one could say, to how much he resented the subject. Based on my track record, she's got a guy, doesn't want a guy, doesn't want me, or doesn't even LIKE guys. He grumbled in his head as he headed downstairs and into the training room, closing the door behind him so as to not bother those sleeping.

He moved to the center of the training mat, tapping it with his feet once, and then putting his heels together ninety degrees. I need to flush my mind... focus on something else... He drew his saber, pointing it level with the training dummy in front of him.

He'd had an interest in fencing for the longest time, and was planning to go into it when he got to the University, but the sudden appearance in Tamriel put a halt on that. Besides, from what he'd seen of fencing, it would work only in one-on-one battles.

Not the most frequent of encounters in Tamriel.

So, he instead -lacking any teachings in sword fighting- had to draw from instinct, Hollywood, and what he'd done in his days of RPing. He side-stepped and swung down, before stepping in the other direction and up, working himself up into a frenzy of flowing motions that took full advantage of his lanky, thin, agile frame.

And he kept it up for about a half hour before he grew tired, sheathed his sword, and headed back upstairs. When he entered his room, Elbereth was still asleep, so he moved quietly over to his chair, sat down, leaned back... and tried to get some shut-eye himself.

OOC:I'm sorry to say that for the next two weeks I may not be available much for RPing. Therefore FC4 and Aulakauss are in charge. If you need anything ask them. I will try my best to post when I get the chance, but try to get along without me for at least a little while.

OOC: We are waiting on Pat to post his response to Aulakauss... I guess I can put in a filler post. I think I shall have some fun with taking liberty in translation, to maintain the PG 13 standard when discussing a topic strictly NOT PG-13.

IC: "God dammit," Sean hissed loudly, withdrawing his now-bleeding hand from its former postion. He sat up in the cart, which was parked a safe distance from the city itself to avoid the risk of "Vagrancy" fines. His his was loud enough to wake up the sleeping Senche just outside the cart.

"[Good friend, I would be most appreciative if you did not insist on injuring thyself in your unyielding quest to prematurely blind]," S'shara growled back at Ji'shandi while the latter proceeded to bind the shallow-yet-embarrassing wound.

If it had been anyone but the Senche, Sean would have denied his previous activities, but the big cat knew him too well. "[One would presume that two years in this alien body would be enough time to adjust to its more painful anatomical features, especially when explored so thoroughly over the months, yet it seems in my case such does not hold true,]" Ji'shandi replied, reaching behind himself for a "special sugar cookie," while he spoke to the cat. The mind-warping effects were almost immediate. Tossing one to S'shara, he got out of the cart and began pacing away, deeper into the technicolor forest.

"[Perhaps thee wouldst not injure thyself so frequently if thou hadst more control over thy body while sleeping, or had fewer arousing thoughts, such as that broad. Perhaps it is she who has captured your thoughts?]" S'shara asked, catching a cookie Ji'shandi tossed to him and wolfing... tigering... something-ing it down.

"[I have no interest in the woman Amelie. She lacks the overall dermal make up that I do find so attractive on the women," Sean replied with slight irritation in his voice.

"[If not her, then is it some other girl? Like the six-briasted cougaress my elven sorcerer met in the deserts around Lut Gholein? Or perhaps that one nudist jaguaress? Or maybe a real girl you knew, like your training partner back in Elsweyr?]" S'shara pressed, driving his friend insane by the highly-immature conversation as they went deeper into the forests.

"[For the love of Jesus Christ, could you please stow your questions? I was merely playing around with myself. I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition!" Ji'shandi snapped. At that moment, he heard a very dissonant chord play, causing him to cringe as three red-robed men dropped out of the trees behind him.

"NObody expects the Spanish Inquisition!" the leader shouted at the Ohmes, running up uncomfortably close beside him. "Our primary weapon is fear. Fear and surprise. ... Or two primary weapons are fear and surprise... and ruthless efficiency. ... ... Our three weapons are fear, surprise, and ruthless efficiency... and fanatic devotion to the Pope... Hmm... Amongst our arsenal, we utilise fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, our fanatic devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms!" Finally getting his speech acceptable, Cardinal Ximinez cleared his throat and declared, "You are hereby charged with Blasphemy and Heresy. How do you plead?"

"I plead innocent. However, I charge you with selling me a dead parrot!" Ji'shandi retorted, procuring said dead bird.

After going through the entire dead parrot sketch, S'shara looked back at the Imperial City in his sugar-crazed state, and shouted, "Camelot!", causing everyone else to turn and repeat the line. When the Cardinal and his henchmen finally snap out of their infatuation with the mythical castle, they turned and found Ji'shandi and S'shara nowhere in sight.

"Oi, they've buggered off!" the cardinal noted, seconded by the other two. "Lets go have some jam and cake."

Back at the cart, the sugar started wearing off after the most-amusing sugar-trip. As Ji'shandi started to climb into the cart to fall asleep though, S'shara stopped him and said, "[Remember my Elven Sorcerer was seperated from the party? How about we use this time to see if we can do anything with him and that NPC cougress they are with."

"Fine," Ji'shandi replied, pulling out his 3rd-edition Dungeons and Dragons rulebooks, getting S'shara his character sheet. "You do know that you will not meet up with the old party, right?" Ji'shandi asked, handing a set of dice and the sheet over to the Senche. In a few minutes, they had resumed the campaign.

OOC: Mornin' folks!

IC: Frank didn't groan into wakefulness, or roll over to avoid sunlight in his face. Nope; he fell completely out of the chair and hit the floor with a light thud, the chair impacting with more noise than he on the floor. A loud ring filled his ear-drums as he looked up from the floor, this time groaning, to look towards the source of the sound.

He didn't even remember turning on that damn alarm, but he must have at one point as it was going off now. Dragging his body across the floor and up into a standing position he reached out and grabbed the hammer silencing the alarm in the only way he currently knew how to turn it off. He stood there like this, not moving. It would take a few minutes of the hammer vibrating between his fingers before the spring-energy would subside and it was stopped. He looked to Elbereth as he waited, hoping she wasn't too startled.

OOC: Sorry that I've been gone for so long, I havn't had any time at all too myself for the past week and a bit with school, rehearsing and then putting on a Theatre Show and last night was our closing night. Also, this may be the last time you see me on this forum for a long time as I announce my semi-retirement from RPing. I might come back eventually, who knows, maybe with TES V I'll be back :P But right now I've got alot of other important things to focus on, so this is pretty much goodbye guys and gals!

IC: Patrick found himself laughing at Jo's query but just flashed a smile and followed the Khajiit up the stairs, his eyes wandering a fair amount of the time. His cheeks blushed a little as Karst turned to him and he walked into the room. Patrick nodded at the Dunmer lying in the bed, "I would shake your hand, but, uh...yeah, well, ya know..."

He went over to the desk and set down the pile of papers as well as his own backpack full of random junk. Wacking his hands on his trousers and cleaning them of dust, Patrick thanked Karst before leaving the room and coming back down to Jo. He flashed a smile again before quickly squeezing his shoulder, "Karst'll find you someone, I reckon. But anyway, I had better get back to the Guildhall before it's morning. I'll see you there, buddy."

With that Patrick slapped Jo on the back and followed the corridor to the exit of the Fighters Guild. He walked the streets of Kvatch whistling a random tune, looking forward to his long sleep ahead of him...

EDIT: Also, for this RP I give Frank complete control of Elbereth considering I won't be back, so feel free to just make one post where she wakes and leaves or you can make her another character. Up to you :)

EDIT 2: I still have no idea what I'm going to do about TES Fiction either...I just gotta get everything in my life organised :)

ooc: Cya, Pat. I added you on my Xbox LIVE account as a friend so hopefully I'll see you on Halo 3 or Gears now and then. :)

ic: Karst slept deeply, as she always did after such nighttime activity. A soft rapping on her door went unnoticed and Radrin came in in a bathrobe, a tray with food on it in his hands. The Dunmer couldn't help but smile at the way Karst was positioned on the bed; her right leg hung off the end and he could see the end of her foot, clawed toes twitching at odd intervals, her ears flicked now and then and she made odd little mumbling sounds as she dreamed. Her hair was a tangled mess of red, strands moving about whenever an ear twitched and the black tip of her tail was visible, wrapped partially around her right ankle, flicking.

Radrin came in, shut the door soundlessly behind him and set the food on the nightstand nearby. He knelt by her side, but before he could move to wake her, Karst let out a snort and rolled over, straight off the bed. His assassin reflexes kicked in and he managed to catch her before she hit the ground. Groggily, Karst opened her eyes and looked up, surprised to find herself lying naked in Radrin's arms. "Uh.. what?" she blinked stupidly in the light.

"You're lucky I was just kneeling down to wake you when you rolled off." he said, smiling. He couldn't help but marvel at how soft the fur covering her torso and the back of her thigh was where he was holding her. The fur certainly made things interesting during more.. intimate activities. Karst just reached up and grabbed onto him, resting her head in his robed chest and putting an arm around his neck.

"I guess so.." she muttered, still partially asleep. Her body still tingled with the lingering effects of sleep paralysis and she felt well rested, despite having only gotten about five hours of rest. A small vibration started in her throat as she purred in contentment. Radrin couldn't suppress the laugh that came up at this.

"It's been a long time since I've had a girl purr for me." he teased her. Karst giggled cutely, though that giggle turned to a gasp of surprise when she was hefted up and deposited gently onto the bed again. "Sleep well, babe?" he asked, turning to do something to the tray of food. She made an 'mm-hmm' sound at him before noticing he was doing something. Sitting up, she also noticed the scent of breakfast for the first time and looked over.

"What's that?" The question was pointless, but her brain hadn't woken up enough to realize it.

"It's coffee grounds in a chamber pot. What do you think it is?" Radrin smiled at her, but got a puzzled look back.

"What's it for?"

He shook his head. "It's breakfast, you dork." he laughed, then set the tray in her furry lap. She could feel the warmth of the food through the metal, warming her legs. On it was a plate with four pancakes, each with butter and strawberries on it, alongside a pair of omelettes filled with peppers, cheese and hash browns. Next to the plate was a mug of coffee and fork. Karst let out a little squeak of glee.

"You remembered. It's.. perfect." she said, somewhat stunned. The robed elf sat by her side and put a hand on her shoulder.

"Down to the moon sugar and honey in the coffee." he added, smiling. The feline leaned over and hugged him, purring again. He rubbed her head affectionately. "Eat up, girlie. Just be careful, coffee's practically molten."

Within ten short minutes, all but a few crumbs of it was in her stomach. After getting dressed, she got back on the bed, leaned over on Radrin sweetly, then belted out a loud burp. A rather contrastingly feminine giggle followed. The assassin chuckled raspily.

"You are by far the most unique woman I have ever met." he commented. Karst smiled and hopped off the bed. "Where're you going?"

"Coffee refill, possibly bathroom, then over to the Terra Guild hall to kick some lazy bastards out of bed. Wanna come with?" Her tone was unusually sunny for her.

"Perhaps in a bit. I need to eat something myself."

"You didn't eat, but you fed me? Aww.." Karst walked over and kissed him. "I wish you could stay here.."

"I wish you'd come with me." he replied. The Khajiit set her hands on her hips. Radrin wondered what he'd done wrong. "What'd I say?"

"It's nicer here. All you have is ash and swamps and weird mushrooms. We've got trees and lakes and lot of nice, sunny beaches."

"And goblins and Imperials and that worthless Chancellor." he added with playful spite. Karst rolled her eyes.

"You are so biased. Well, Elsweyr's better than both, so ha."

"Whatever.. and you're not? You've never even been to Morrowind."

"Don't need to, don't want to. Might be nice as an exotic vacation someday though. Maybe I'll come up and force myself on you there sometime."

"You can't [censored] the willing." Radrin said absently, picking his nails and not looking at her. Karst laughed.

"Too true. Well, I'm off. See you when you stop by."

"Bye, fuzz." Radrin waved to her as she turned and started off. She waved over her shoulder as she exited, tail swishing in its usual absent manner behind her.

_______
By the time Frank got up, Jo'Rokku was already eating a breakfast of toast and oatmeal. He nearly inhaled the bite in his mouth when the doors to the guild hall burst open and light poured in, silhouetting a feminine figure until his eyes adjusted to the brightness. Karst stood there in her tunic-like black-and-purple shirt, his old jeans around her waist, the shredded ends on the pantlegs somewhat blending into the fur on her feet. She was wearing some kind of sandals and looked oddly naked without her coat on. No apparent effort had been made to comb her hair.

"Good mornin'!" she said with great enthusiasm, drawing out the word 'good.'

"'Sup, happypants. How was the six?" Jo asked, sounding disinterested but with a hint of laughter. Karst let out a wistful sigh and sat down, reaching over to pick off a piece of his toast.

"Wonderful. Absofrickinlutely wonderful. Why, want me to give you a narrative?"

"What? Uhm.. no thanks, I'm good. You eat breakfast already? I can make you somethin' if you haven't."

"Radrin gave me breakfast in bed and.." she looked up and saw the gray Khajiit suppressing a giggle. "Oh, shut up you pervert. I meant literally." Karst reached over to grab another piece of the piece of toast. "I'm stealing your toast."

"Go for it." Jo smiled and shoved the plate over to her, three-quarters of a piece of toast left on it. "Though you said elfy fed you, though."

"Elfy?" Karst raised an eyebrow, then grinned toothily and leaned over the table towards Jo'Rokku. "D'aww.. Someone's jealous. How cute!"

"Shuttup." Jo popped another spoon of oatmeal in his mouth. Karst punched him in the shoulder and he looked up. "Hey! What was that for?"

"He's coming over in a bit and I'm hoping you can be civil to him. I'll kick your ass if you're not."

"Don't worry, Karst. I'm not jealous." Jo reassured her, then looked down at his food. "Envious would be a better word for it." he added truthfully.

"At least you're honest. Well, I'mma go kick some asses out of some beds. Be right back." Karst shoved the rest of the toast into her mouth, grabbed Jo's coffee and took a swig of it, then wandered off upstairs. Jo watched her go with a raised eyebrow. When she got to Frank's door, she rapped on it lightly with her knuckles. "Knock knock, Frankie." she cooed playfully.

"And what in Oblivion was that?" Elbereth asked grouchily as she laid there on her back, eyes wide open now from the alarm.

"An alarm system I made, it measures time and then rings when I should get up. Makes sure I wake up in the mornings." Frank explained, removing his fingers from the hammer. It clanged against the bells, and he held the hammer quickly again, silencing it.

"You should probably remove that before the Mages Guild comes. I doubt any story will adequately and legally explain that one..." She muttered, and Frank nodded solemnly. Closing his eyes, he inhaled deeply, trying to focus within, to the magicka contained in his own body. Just as he began to feel that cool, euphoric tingle of magic coursing through his flesh, a knock on the door knocked him from his concentration, and he cried out. Letting go of the clock hastily he retreated, holding his injured hand. The clock steamed as the metal began to cool, only partially starting to melt.

He looked at the second degree burns on his fingers and cursed while Elbereth tried to hide the laughter, and he turned to the door, dropping his hand to open it with the other. "What?!" He snapped, a moment later noticing it was Karst and recoiling. "Sorry, sorry, bad time, little sleep." He explained quickly, opening the door more and leaning on it, but keeping his burnt right hand at his side.

"So... what's up?"

The door opened and Frank screamed at her, making her recoil.

"What?!" he yelled at her. After she recovered a half second later, she raised an eyebrow at him as she listened to his explanation. "So.. what's up?"

"Uhm.. trying to wake you up and getting screamed at?" she answered uncertainly, ears still flat against her head. They flicked up a moment later and she looked at his hand and shook his head, noticing also the steaming, melting clock. "What is with you and destroying stuff? I already said I could hold onto things for you. Azura, you're thick. Here, gimme that.." The khajiit grabbed his right hand roughly by the wrist and set her other hand on it. Her most often cast spells came as easily to her as moving her limbs and the burn was healed in a moment, cool Restoration magicka rushing in to mend the scorched flesh. The sad thing about her magickal ability was her actual holding capacity was rather small, so she depleted fast and regenerated slowly.

Letting go, Karst looked over at Elbereth and smiled. "So, I see you have a bedmate now. Guess you don't need me anymore, eh?" she flashed a grin at him and wandered over to Elbereth, sitting with a bit of a flourish on the edge of the bed. One leg crossed over the other and she rested one hand on her own leg and one on the side of the Bosmer's. Her voice when she spoke was chipper and playful, holding all the qualities of a mischievous teenage girl. "Morning, sixy and bloody." she addressed Elbereth, then spoke to both, "How'd you two sleep?"
