Well none of these are inhabited right now. Except maybe if the merchant counts as an inhabitant (and thus one house is now off limits).

Try having an actual floor. :P

A house must be 10x5, have a light source, walls that are not of dirt, a chair and a table.

A house must be 5h*7w, have walls (background), at least 1 door, a table, a chair and a light source.

Please put the X axis first, Y axis later, thanks.

It was 10x5 the last time I checked.

That multi story house is cool! Makes my silly houses look silly. :P

I hate "walls". So boring to remove.

It started out as an outpost, a rather small one, 120 blocks away from my spawn, I didn't have a bed at the time. But now it's my tiny village, I have an outpost to the East (left side of the screen), 2000 blocks or so, where the Dryad initially went, instead of my village <_<

Interesting. Well...I STOLE your idea.

I was thinking, if I add the required furniture on each floor, can I only get one NPC max coming into my home? Since it's big you know...it could house a couple of people.

Yesterday was a good day for me. After a few failed attempts on the Eye of Cthulhu, I finally managed to slay the beast. My main problem is that I'm not twitchy enough to be effective - I'm rarely able to dodge it when it dives. Also, I found my winning attack combo was shurikens first, then flaming arrows after it transformed. Was still a nail-biter. But now that I got the demonite ore and crafted a sword and bow from it, plus found 4 more crystal hearts to get 320 life rather than the 240 I had before, I bet it'd be a cinch next time!

Though I think I may head for the dungeon and harvest some of the nice green brick for base-building, and then start a fresh world with the new gear, because my base is an ad-hoc shambles. Plus going to a new world seems to be the easiest way to get copious amounts of wood.

Don't place any of those blocks underground, otherwise you'll have monsters spawning in there and npcs refusing to move in also. (Because dungeon blocks underground counts as a dungeon to the engine).

I've gotten some good gear recently, got a shadowscale mail set and also some meteor mail, and a nice purple phaseblade. Been to the jungle a bit as well, there are lots of cool items to be found.

I finished exploring the dungeon. It became a lot easier once I found the Blue Moon. That thing is utterly redicilous :P

Oh yeah... And I found my first hook. For some odd reason, it was just lying underground - I didn't even have to kill any skellies to get it. Perhaps I'd already killed one and my inventory was simply full at the time. Grapple fun.

How did you get walls underground like that? And the dark altars sometimes rarely spawn in areas other than corruption.

I have some issues to get meteors to spawn.

I got twice the message that meteor has landed, but I have not found one. And I've searched the whole world.

Yeah, I have searched one. But it was not there. And there is only 4-5 islands on my world and what is the changes that they both landed there?

Okay, I finally figured it out. The dirt walls have to be adjacent to sky in order to break.

Yeah, I did look where those meteors landed. But funny thing is that it claims that they never landed anywhere :P

The mine in the middle goes all the way to the bottom of the world.

There's one of those demon alters down the tunnel.

The pics aren't put together well :whistling:

Nice! Second pic doesn't work though.

So if you create a large hall and section it off using doors, they count as different homes?

Then it either hit a sky island or a floating bridge you made, more likely.
