God, I'm happy I went for Jordis. Even as a vampiric abomination she's sweet.

One of my friends said he Married Mjoll The Lioness and said that she kept inviting random guys over so he eventually killed all of the other guys and her lol, I almost always go for Ysolda for whatever reason and she hasn't done anything odd or d**chy as of yet. Also why marry Uthgerd and adopt kids with her when she did kill a kid once, they probably serve as a constant reminder of how she messed up...if only ai were capable of independent thought then that would make some sense lol.

What, so you expect a warrior to look like a beauty queen? It's a rough life, but she's a darn good follower, actually pretty badass, especially if you give her a better weapon. :)

She's not the only one of the female marriage options that feels that way, some of them only like the vanilla houses. Try Proudspire, I've read that none of them have a problem there.

There are plenty of bandit and giant raids, who's to say some of her friends might not show up the week after. Or.. 'Don't worry hunny I'll get the door'.. 'FUS ROH DAH!'

-Edited for grammar.

She didn't kill a kid, she killed another Companion candidate. Hardly a child.

Edit: as she was trying to become a Companion when it happened, I assume the person she killed was a candidate or an actual Companion, UESP just says an opponent.

I doubt she killed a companion. If she had I am sure they would have killed her.

And yeah, you married the ugly woman haha, what did you expect? :D

Pretty sure the Nords consider that erotic foreplay.

Uthgerd seems like the type of woman that would get you drunk then you'd wake up the next morning married to her.

She said herself that the kid; a male I believe; was pretty much a child. By child, she didn't mean a little kid, probably someone 16 - 20. Back then, fighting age was around 15/16 because you were large and strong enough to hold your own in a fight, and still had some room to grow and learn.

Obviously you are not getting drunk and beating her up enough. She's going into relapse.
