It happened just outside Novac first, and now it happens any time I leave Freeside, in any outdoor area. After just a couple moments this shockingly loud static noise cuts in and I have to mute it or wake the neighborhood. I use this PC for all kinds of other games (it's the Steam Sale after all), and I've logged 100 hours of New Vegas on it too. Never encountered this kind of issue before for anything.

Any way to fix this would be extremely helpful...
