TES 40K

Years ago Warhammer created their universe for the rpg world back when they were just games played with dice.

From there they made a futuristic version called Warhammer 40k which was set 40,000 years in the future

Now we are in the era of video games as opposed to games with dice and TES has probably become the leading game in rpg.

With the coming release date of the new Warhammer "Space Marine" game, it lead me think...who thinks a TES universe with the same races set at a much later time period would be interesting?

I wouldn't be interested. I play RPGs for the fantasy settings. I love Elves, dragons, sword and bows, magic, all of it. I don't like sci-fi. They can make it, but I won't buy it.

The dragons, elves, magic etc will still be in there as it is the same universe just set at a lot later time period. The big difference is the technology. That and the possible ability to travel through space (well it is in Warhammer 40k anyway - Depends if TES does it this way).

The armor becomes power armor and the bows become plasma rifles. Swords become power swords or chain saws etc.
