This is probably going to sound quite idiotic, but have they confirmed anything related to TES V? My friend said that it would be a MMORPG, and that it's due to release sometime this year but I say that's pure speculation.

Just to answer your question so you don't have to re-ask it:
We have no idea what the MMO is currently, but it is NOT being made by Bethesda, but by Zenimax Media Online. Bethesda has stated they do not make MMOs and that there will eventually be a new TES game. If, or more likely, when, we get TES V it should have no affect on the MMO (which might possibly be a TES MMO, that, once again, would not affect TES V).
