TES: V

Hopefully it comes out at around the time I've just about done everything there is to do in FO: NV...

You don't follow the TESV speculation thread, do you? There's enough evidence to pretty much guarantee TESV will be announced in the next GI(which should be in less than a week or so).

here's a link thats interesting for anyone interested its from the planet elder scrolls website saying something about an ESV announcement, enjoy :batman: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/fullstory.php?id=162212 :ninja:

Aww mannn....not a freaking iPhone game...

I personally kinda want to see Black Marsh fleshed out in some way. Also, a change to the leveling system might be nice.

If they can make it so TES:V is a great game then I would have voted for that. But I think they stated that they were not devolping TES:V yet. As in it may (and probably will) come before fallout 4 they just haven't started it yet. If someone else knows more please do tell.
If TES doesn't get its "thunder" back then im rooting for fallout 4.

Even though I love Fallout, I think I'd like to play TES V more than Fallout 4 :P

TES V. NV is coming out in October, so I already have a new Fallout to look forward to. But nothing at all on a new TES game.

Fallout 3 only came out 2 years ago, and now New Vegas will be out this year. Granted it's more of an "off shoot" than a sequel but 3 Fallout games in only the span of 4-6 years would be a little too much. Especially considering TES by than would be going on a 6-8 year hiatus if they did Fallout 4.

Honestly, I'm hoping TES V is taking awhile because of a new game engine. Granted Fallout 3 did eat into development time for a TES V but I doubt that would be a major issue. Besides, Bethesda has said very little about TES V. The last I heard was a rumor from Pete Hines saying another TES would be out in 2010-2011. And that was shortly after Fallout 3 hit shelves.

It was not Pete Hines who said that the next TES would come out in 2010. That was Paul Oughton the publishing executive of Bethesda Softworks. And of course this is something that we cannot realistically expect at the moment.

i agree black, fallout is my game also, i liked oblivion, it was a great game, but once fallout 3 came out i stopped playing oblivion, i'm looking forward to all the future fallout games, Pete Hines said this in an interview :nerd: " We're very serious about bringing Fallout back to the forefront of RPGs in a major way. :frog: here is the link to that interview. :obliviongate: http://cpedia.com/wiki?q=Softworks+Pete+Hines+Fallout&guess_ambig=Softworks+Pete+Hines+Elder+Scrolls+IV+Morrowind+Fallout+

I have to agree with the others in saying that fallout has gotten it's glory. I am highly anticipating TESV. Fallout was fun and all, and it's a nice theme, but personally I am more of a fantasy/medieval gamer. Plus the environment in fallout was too repetitive for me. It got a little dull seeing desert after desert after broken down gas station ect.

 bethesda has only made one fallout game, and they bought the franchise in order to work on it and develop it, those are pete hines words, and he also said they were going to bring fallout to the forefront of RPG's in a major way, he said that also, and obviously we have new vegas coming out made by obsidian and bethesda will be making fallout 4 continuing the fallout series, its pretty safe to say there is gonna be several more fallout games coming in the coming years, its a series they are going to work on and develop just like the ES series, thats what they have said so they aren't hanging up the hat on the fallout series anytime soon. its been a massive success even more than ES actually according to FO3 game sales, so don't be looking for fallout to go away, its not gonna be. actually fallout is a lot more unique of a game than most other games, there lots of midevil/fantasy games, there is only one fallout type series :nerd:

Wow... considering this is a Fallout Forum, I was expecting TESV NOT to be the majority vote...

At any rate, TESV, please. I wanna see what happens to the Empire after the Oblivion Crisis, and if Sheogorath exists, and if Jygglag is considered an official Daedric god now!

I played oblivion before i played fallout 3 and i could not get my head around oblivion at all. I would like to see a new fallout game in the coming years but i would like it to be MUCH bigger than fallout 3 like, you could go to chicago and other places.

exactly king kong, well here is some good news for you, this is a pete hines quote "Pete Hines: We're very serious about bringing Fallout back to the forefront of RPGs in a major way". so that means they're gonna be making lots of fallout games and they'll prob get better each time, some people think bethesda is done with fallout, bethesda has only made one fallout game so far, and pete hines said they bought the franchise in order to develop it and work on it , the fallout series is FAR from over. its only just begun.

todd howard said to "not be looking for an ESV anytime soon" now if they make another ES it will be cool for sure, maybe they are making it, but if they are todd howard still said not to be looking for it anytime soon, bethesda has made lots of ES games and they have only made one fallout game, and lets face it, fallout 3 was a massive success and the series was brought back in a major way, there are lots of possibilities with the series, all the fallout games are not gonna be exactly the same so anyone who says fallout has had its glory, not really, fallout 3 came out less than two years ago and bethesda didn't buy the franchise to make 1 or 2 games then shelf it, not with the success its had and all the possibilites for future fallout games. i'm expecting an entire string of fallout games in the coming years. thank you bethesda for revitalizing the fallout franchise.
