TES V Ideas and Suggestions # 173

I think it would be cool when after you finish the last quest in the storyline, they play a variation on the games main theme, like changing tonality, instrumentation etc....

Just like Dungeon Siege.

I was making a remark about a past posters post lol. And i could care less if there was six scenes i was just bringing up that the people against the six scenes have really bad arguments except the one about AO rating.

well heres a better arguement do you want kids watching that honestly some parents don't give a crap wether they buy an m rated game, its not healthy and if your looking for perverted crap go find a bloody porm site, i would prefer it to go back to a T rating area personally (less blood) i mean its alright to make it realistic, but its a fantasy game honestly people i don't see the appeal of a lot of blood(i really don't see the appeal of gore) and six(i know it sales but you shouldn't find it in every (censored) thing) in a game, and sorry about the people on the last page, if i'm off topic(haven't gotten to it yet) i'm just tired of people supporting six in the elder scrolls.

You do realise six and nudity appeared in early Elder Scrolls games, right? And TES has always been about realistic RPG's. They've always had a large, open world, with corrupt leaders, small quests there's no real need for, drunkards, and yes, six. While personally, I don't see the appeal of six either, it would seem a large majority of members of the forums are all for it, and/or children (goes alongside six).

Personally, I'd love the ability to raise a family (as long as it's implemented correctly), but I don't like in game six. I would simply use a censor feature that comes with the game. And I really doubt it wouldn't. While I do now see Pupps point about stupid six scenes (Basically hardcoe computer porm), I don't see a problem with short and standard scenes. As long as they can be censored.

Hmm about one other post of the limitations
I htink the raising of the 100- 150 attribute cap or the 100- 110 skill cap could be done awesomely
lets see um. This would be done by the dependicies of your class
First off it should be 7 or maybe 10 major skills , 10 so you can get to 100 but 7 feels more balanced.
But also you should be allowed 3 Favored attributes that would be awesome.
Okay so all your Attributes max at 100...but your Favored attributed are allowed to go to 150
and All your skills max at 100 but your Major skills can improve to 110
that would mean chosign your favored skills and major skills would have a bonus other than the starting bonus.

And usually though the birthsigns were all bad except thief, the lady, or the warrior
it would be awesome if all birthsigns gave at least 1 attribute a 10 point bonus so no matter what any of the birthsigns would boost 1 attribute.
except that The warrior,The lady, The thief, The steed, which are cool.
But maybe one thing i cmae up for mine was
The thief=+10 to luck, agility, speed but also +5 to all stealth skills
The warrior=+10 to strength, endurance but also +5 to all combat skills
The mage=+10 to intelligence, willpower but also +5 to all magic skills
The atronach ability instead of getting a weakness you would get a resistance to Fire, ice,Shock for 25%
it would be awesome if all the birthsigns felt useful so chosing 1 would be difficult cause they are al good
like the tower would improve lockpicking, the steed gives 20 speed and 10 to athletics
The lady=+10 to Willpower,Endurance,Personality
The apprentice=+100 to magicka total no weakness
The serpent=+10 to personality but also the serpents spell
The shadow=+10 to luck and the spell
so yeah i know awkward maybe i should just post a mod so it would be easily understood a more balanced one
ill call it lex's Birthsign thought lol yeah......
(what a bad name for it...)
I think the save sysem should be improved a little like n dragon age origins or Mass effect by that being
some people may accidently delete or save over their save files and that can be irratating
First each charater would have their own profile save room spot, then their own auto save and only in that
are for that character could a save be made this way you wouldnt overwirte the save like in oblivon or fallout 3 which if you have a bunch of saves it becomes chaos. it would sort out the saving and loading and be alot cooler and more controlled. It was awesome in Mass effect or Dragon age since this sort of thing didn really ever occur
and if it was used in Tes5 then saving or loading wouldnt end up being a huge search or hassle like in fallout or oblivion, i think it should say the name, Race, class, birthsign, level, and area the player was in
it would be awesome
A bunch of Graphical implications i think would be friggin awesome
So i was thinking of there being mirrors to which yo uwoudl be able to see yourself and then windows which you could
look out of and see the area outside but also they retain the fact that they are mirrors somewhat and you could partially see your reflection
Also in first person the player should be able to see their legs instead of getting the feeling that you are just a floating eyeball
And i liked a Mod called Quarls harvest where when you collected from flowers and other containers they would changed their appearance
this was awesome and let you know that you had collected from them.
Also maybe some splash effects by this i mean footstep cloud animations depending on where you step
a more detailed boom splash effect from hitting certain things with your sword, spells, etc.
and also a more realstic feel to water which it may look pretty but when you jump in water you get a splash not just a plop
yeah....besides all that i think it would be awesome if the world would be more interactive and intelligent
such as you could climb ladders, climb up walls over walls and stuff and the ai would react to things and climb up or over them
maybe even pick up trash and throw it away in a trash can.. and a 72 or 24 hour delete sequencial thing
this would get rid of clutter in the game reducing some lag issues like if someone sot arrows all over or threw equipment everywhere
it wouldnt just sit there forever taking up memory. only quest items or quest people would finnaly dissapate and dead bodies that
are not quest like would dissapear as well to save on memory too. This would be cool but yeah i know some people who dont like it.

My dialogue idea:

1. There is no dialogue window/screen. When you walk to an NPC and hold your cursor over him, a list of topics appears in the corner of the screen which can be selected from. You can move around while talking, and walk to and from dialogue seamlessly.

2. This means that real time passes while you are in conversation. People will move around you.

3. Dialogue can not be initiated during combat, and dialogue is immediately ended if the player gets into combat while an NPC is speaking.

I would like being able to grab onto things like edges and roofs, i think it's stupid to fall from a cliff because you didnt manage to jump all the way over.
Better hand to hand combat, i think that a hand to hand based character should be able to do some awesome moves.
Better combat animations, i think you should be able to see a difference in the way a novice and a master swings his/her weapon.
Better dialoguemore options, like morrowind but with voice acting, and you should be able to say yes or no in more than just one way, it would be fun to be an impolite [censored].
You should be able to beat people (only with your fists of cource) up without them thinking that they are being killed. guard should also firsdt give you a warning before you get a bounty.
Being able to use objects as weapons, this could make some awesome bar fights.

I'd like the ability to craft daedric armour, if not all armour. I could do so in a way that would get me different armour types for different princes.

I would need to find a bunch of ebony ores. I'd either need to take advantage of my armourer skill if smithing is implemented, or give the pieces to some high ranking smith, with payment (or both). I would then be given a "blank" daedric armour set. I would be able to use this as any other daedric armour set, and it would have it's own... bland appearance.

I would then need to go to the shrine of a daedric prince, and do a small quest that would give me access to a daedric armour smith. I would then need to provide him with the soul of specific deadra. For example, if I give the guy the soul of a Winged Twilight, I would get Azura's armour. Each armour would provide me with different effect that doesn't take up the enchantment place (being so rare, I think it would make sense). I would need to do specific quests for each prince if I want armour from each one.

For example;

Prince - Soul required - Possible Appearance

Azura - Winged Twilight - Long, flowing cloth like armour that has a typical azura "beauty" theme
Boethiah - Hunger - Either an assassin-ey type of armour, or a typical warrior type of armour (This guy really confuses me)
Hircine - Herne - Armour made of animal pelts, with the trademark deer helm Hircine wears
Malacath - Ogrim - Large, bulky armour that would suit a stereotypical orc
Mehrunes Dagon - Dremora/Clannfear/Scamp - Daedric armour ala Oblivion
Mephala - Spider Daedra - Assassin-ey armour, darker than Boethiah's
Molag Bal - A Vampire, if the stories are true - Daedric Armour ala Morrowind
Nocturnal - Nocturnal Lord? - Very dark armour. Perhaps the type of armour a typical big bad guy would wear?
Sheogorath - Golden Saint - Armour would depict both sides of insanity. One said would be a nice, peacful, "Manic" looking kind of armour, whereas the other would depict the evil "Demented" side of insanity.

Of course, these aren't set in stone. Bethesda can choose whatever look or daedra needed they like. I've left some out as I'm not too sure on the daedra associated. Some daedra would need to be revealed to us, and some would need to be more fleshed out (e.g., Noctural Lords). This would be a great way to support a Daedric Prince of your choosing, and certain outfits would make certain people hate you. (I mean, who's going to like a worshipper of Dagon?)

That sounds interesting. If I may add a few:

Jyggalag - Knight of Order - armor just like those of the Knights of Order
Meridia - Auroran - smaller version of the Auroran armor

Now that he's free, I'm expecting him to come into the picture, especially if TES V really does take place 200 years after Oblivion.

Or a gold suit of armor that you would expect from some pompous-self righteous-Imperial legion officer.

Are you talking about the Imperial Dragon armor? That would be funny if Clavicus conned <(not sure of spelling) the CoC out of his armor.

His Daedra. I wouldn't think that they'd be able to come into the mortal world and spread word of him, though. Apart from special occasions, such as during Oblivion, the only time a Daedra can enter Nirn is through summining, right? If so, no one would summon his knights, as they wouldn't know of them. Should take a few hundred years to be properly known.

So would Daedric Armour.

I think Bethesda should learn from Midas Magic. There was some cool stuff there. The rays, the zones, the hurricanes, etc. I think that stuff should be in destruction. Make destruction more than just a magical arrow. The only difference between fire, frost, and lightning was the damage type and look. Look at Midas Magic, Todd Howard. That guy should be on your developer team.

Melon atronach was a bit weird, but. As was the way you attained spells. But add some of those effects.

What i want the most in the next TES game is a game with a deep atmoshpere. i liked the one in morrowind. there was slavery, war between houses, racism and alot of dark themes and stuff like that. the only dark thing in oblivion was the dark brotherhood
i want back the dark atmosphere and certain taboo themes.

Also, No level scaling. i want some places to be inaccessible because youre too weak and guards not to be a piece of cake to beat.

Also, more variation in stronghold, dungeons, caves and such. why note a crystal cave and a side quest attached to it? or the dungeons-laboratory of some evil necromancer? but also architectural variance. Dumner styled stronghold if closer to morrowind on the map or ayleid ruins (i dont know where) and a dwemer forge when closer to a volcano?(Unique architectural, historical locations)

Another thing interesting would be more land marks. lets face it, in oblivion every interesting things happen interior or incity or in an oblivions gate (some exceptions such as the place i dont remember the name where there was a lighning strike) and it would be alot of fun if more quests were related to what happen outside

Race domination: like in morrowind we should have a domminant race and of course imperials trying to implement themselves everywhere (Morrowind was mostly domner but imperials were starting to invade the place especialy in south parts (Ebonheart, Seyda need,Pelagia different imperial legion forts)

Lastly for now: Ability based things (dont realy know how to say it) but having a greater strenght should allow you to move stuff in a dungeon (for instance a rock) or agility let you do something fast enought.
