I feel so utterly nerdy with this, but here goes anyway!

Anyone else find any sort of interest in Elder Scrolls related costumes and props, or even so much as live-action roleplay set in Nirn?'
Have you perhaps seen some impressive stuff in the least?

I've always wanted to try larping, but never found a group nearby. Perhaps after I move cross-country I might be able to find some folks who are interested. If not, I might still try to put a few outfits together, including both my own character and a Nocturnal one.
Also thinking of doing a few smaller, simpler crafts such as an Elder Scroll, or a Necromancer's Amulet.

I'm not into it. But I do enjoy seeing the stuff people make to wear and stuff.

hell yeah i actually been wanting to do larping for a long ass time now if only could just make a costume like one of those i would want ether the nightengale or the, deadric armor or the skyrim dark brotherhood armor.

I'm a Nightingale as well. Gonna try some leatherworking sometime soon. I just hope my sewing machine can handle it. It's gonna take a lot of effort to make it breathe well, also.

Alternatively, conjurer's robes will do.

i just wish i knew where places where so i could do it. i might be able to put together my own kinda costume for i was thinking about buying to of the assassin's creed hidden blades and making some kinda assassin costume. its just gonna take a while before i get any thing else to make the rest of the costume.

No, you should definitely feel nerdy. LARPing is one of the nerdiest things a person can do.

But nerds are awesome, so that's not a bad thing! Plus, I'm sure LARPing is fun, but it's not something I've ever done and probably not something I'll ever do.

Sadly, TES lacks good female characters, so I don't really feel like I have a lot of options if I was going to cosplay as someone from the series. Even if I wanted to go as a female Vivec, I'd have to be half naked. I guess I'd either go as just some random Dwemer, or I'd go as Nocturnal. Nocturnal with boots.
Nocturnal with boots sounds like an easier costume, but a Dwemer lady sounds more fun.

Huh? When I think 'good TES characters', my mind shifts straight to Azura, Potema and Almalexia. Granted, the second out of those would be pretty hard to do, but the problem is more in the lack of good characters in general rather than of a specific gender. The only guys I can think of off the top of my head are Divayth Fyr, Crassius Curio and Krish.

As there are indeed few good female characters in the series, I just plan to be my own Breton Nightingale. I think I might consider making my costume out of actual leather rather than craft foam.

I hate Azura. She's not a bad character, since she's dynamic enough that there's a lot of debate about whether she's benevolent or not (protip: she's not) but I would prefer to cosplay as a character I liked. Potema doesn't really have any solid appearance that would be identifiable, and if it's not Identifiable, then it isn't worth cosplaying as, if you ask me. \Almalexia is half naked, and while the girls in the images posted above are totally hot and pull it off, I'm too modest to dress like that. I will concede that Almalexia is a great female character in TES, but she's one of a few.

When I think of guys, then just off the top of my head: Vivec, Cyrus, Dagoth Ur, Pelinal Whitestrake, Jiub, Tiber Septim/Talos, Mankar Camoran, Sheogorath, the Dragonborn, to name a few.

TES definitely has a lack of prominent female characters.
