Lee has been good in his first start as an M. 5 innings 0ER 5K 0BB 2H.Now if only Ichiro and Gutierrez were not the only people who could hit on the team.

That was some kind of pitcher's duel last night. svcks that neither of them could get a win for their labors. Well, I would've been perfecty fine with Lee getting a loss, but it's hard to watch a guy give his all and not be able to get the runs to back it up.

@Ratwar- I agree with you. So far, things have been pretty well. Nobody is so far out that they can't still make the playoffs either. I really feel like the league is a lot more competitive. I don't know if that's due to a few changes, or the fact that most everyone has at least a year's worth experience.

Sooo Zman is going to end up beating me pretty bad this week. My team sure laid down a stinker.

EDIT: And I can't make any roster moves until I activate Daisuke, who was awful in his first outing.

Our $100 million pitcher Matsuzaka got owned again tonight... 3 of the 5-18 Orioles wins are against the Sox. Just terrible man.

Well, your opponent definitely isn't helping you out. I mean, 7 HRs in a day...

Wow, the Red Stockings really must be horrid.

You've pretty much beaten me. I had a bad week in regards to pitching.

This week has been weird... It would appear that basically every matchup is going to be a blow out.

Joe Mauer is hurt. That's just great.

That is going to leave a mark...

Figures, the day I decide to bench Polanco for his consistent crappiness he goes off for 3 hits so far with a homer. Ah well, at least I know it wouldn't have made any difference.

That was a tough week.I got solid pitching from a couple people and off and on hitting which did not help.

Did anyone see Fister's perfect game going into the 6th?He ended up not allowing any runs into the 8th but once again the lose in extras because the M's cant hit.Chone Figgens has been a big bust and well I would say the same about Bradley but that was no surprise.

I saw a play on Sportscenter where Bradley just stood there and watched a ball fall in between him and the centerfielder. That's just ridiculous, that guy doesn't deserve to play anywhere.

Anywho, Peavy took care of business today, so pitching is still my strength. Unfortunately I don't have anything in the offensive department. <_<

EDIT: Decided to make a couple moves, I need offense more than I needed pitching, and the two I dropped aren't great producers anyways. Well Matsuzaka might, but the way the Red Sox are playing right now it's just not worth it.

So I finally found where ESPN hides the rules on position eligibility. IIRC someone else was wondering about these as well.

The listed primary positions are fixed and will not change for the duration of the season.

Positional Eligibility for Batters
Additional positional eligibility for Batters occurs when one of the following conditions is met:

* Games played at a position during last season: 20
* Games played at a position during current season: 10 (The eligibility will take place on the 11th day, even if no game is played that day)

NOTE: For a batter to be considered eligible for Outfield (OF) he must play at least ten games in any outfield position (RF, CF, LF or any combo of the three, totaling 10). For example, at one point in 2009, Gary Sheffield (DH) played four games in Left Field and six games in Right Field. The total was ten, so he would be OF eligible.

Positional Eligibility for Pitchers
Additional positional eligibility for Pitchers occurs when one of the following conditions is met:

* Pitching appearances last season: 5 starts / 8 relief
* Pitching appearances during current season: 3 starts / 5 relief

EDIT: Though I am already doubting this. I have a SP who only pitches in relief now but shows no appearances as a reliever on the eligibility page.

Red, you need to stop feeding your teams steroids.

Good week for me so far, my team has just got to keep it up.

Dude heck no, it's not against the rules...

Seriously, though, this is awesome. 8 home runs in 2 days? I kinda like it.

sbr, I sent you a trade offer.

@everyone: You're going to say it's unbalanced, but right now it's not. Both players are off to slow starts. It's not as if I'm giving away Willy Taveras for Carl Crawford. Both 2B's are good ones.

Where in the heck did Andruw Jones come from? Another HR tonight. 8 HRs and 5 SBs in 70 ABs. Talk about off of the scrap heap.

I had him for a couple days, then I picked up Kevin Correia and I had to release him, then I was going to pick him up the day after you released him.

:(

I have such bad luck, every time I make plans to pick up players they get taken ahead of me.

EDIT: Bad luck strikes again! Sivartus picks up Chris Young off waivers ahead of me!

So maybe I missed this at the beginning of the league, but why the hell include Holds in the stats? It seems to be the most ridiculous stat ever, and I hardly ever get them.

Sorry about that :D.
