So maybe I missed this at the beginning of the league, but why the hell include Holds in the stats? It seems to be the most ridiculous stat ever, and I hardly ever get them.

Yea I don't really love the stat category either but its my own fault for not paying attention to that in the beginning of the year.

Sorry about that :D.

We all felt at the time that it might be a good stat to add. It does seem kind of pointless now.

Should have done errors instead. Although I don't think that would change anything about who we drafted/traded. Good week this week- tight competition. I really like how the league is playing out so far.

I would prefer opponent batting average for another pitchers stat, but I like holds.

I don't like it much to be honest. IMO Phillips is the better all around and by quite a bit, not sure what I gain by trading them straight across. Phillip's ADP was 33 spots higher than Hill, Hill is coming off an injury and Hill is sort of a one-season wonder where Phillips has been one of the best 2B in baseball teh last few years.. I might consider it if you threw in another player, let me look at your roster and see if I can come up with a counteroffer. If I don't have time before your proposal expires I will either send a counter or tell you here I decided against it.

Hey Thadeus, is there anyone on my roster you'd want for Nick Markakis?

Yeah. The question is, how bad do you want him and what are you willing to give up?

Either Kelly Johnson or Shane Victorino. Those are the two guys I'd be most interested in.

Alright, I sent the offer. I hope I'm not making another horrible mistake like my Dan Uggla trade.

Markakis is starting to heat up, so you should be fine.

Yeah, my ERA was looking pretty awesome. Then Beckett pitched.

I hate "King" Felix so much.He had one good year,I don't no why people praise him, he is so inconsistent. Its not like he can even blame the batting like Lee because he lets up way to many runs.So if anybody wants him you are welcomed to offer me a trade. In fact none of my pitchers are off limits besides Carpenter. They have just been plain bad.

I'm confused, right now Pablo Sandoval's average for the day is .333, but his on base is .250? Is that even possible?

I think it is possible if he had a sacrifice fly, they don't count as at bats for average but do for on base. I think.

I never tricked, or at least I never meant to. He had a lot of hype coming into the season. It's not like I flatout lied to you.

Haha chill, I was just kidding. Besides, I think you got screwed over pretty good by Francoeur. :D

In Astros news, looks like Bourn is going to get suspended a game or two. Argued an out call at first, got thrown out immediately, and then bumped the umpire's chest. I hate that, if you just give the ump a bump in the chest I really don't think it's that big of a deal, especially since a lot of the umpires tend to get just as worked up as the players.

Personally, if it's just a game or two I think he got off too easy. Disagreeing with umpires is fine, they miss calls all the time, but getting physical with them (or threatening to do so) is totally unacceptable. A 45 year old umpire can't defend himself from a player, and it is a very short step from bump in the chest to throwing punches.
