Yeah, I'll trade Uggla for Laroche and Escobar, but I need to wait until I can put Barkman on the DL. When will that get updated?

When was it announced? Today? It should be available soon.

It might not happen until this weekend, since it's spring training and all. Teams don't have to worry about roster management, and they don't want to bother with the DL if the player gets magically better.

According to MLB.com and ESPN, they have placed him on the DL. He told them he wouldn't be ready for opening day, so they put him on there retroactive to March 26th.

Well, after looking at the teams, I have the following predictions:

Vivec Winner: Horkers
Septim Winner: Gauchos
Wildcard: Blernsball and NinjaFish

Playoffs:
1. Horkers over 4. NinjaFish
3. Blernsball over 2. Gauchos

Championship:
1. Horkers over 3. Blernsball.

Yes, I am a shameless homer, and I may have just picked the other teams out of a hat.

Yeah. Davis will get you a lot of homers, but isn't he a free swinger (high strikeouts and low on-base percentage)?

Apparently he's fixed that. As far as Berkman going on the DL, if they're going to do it it will happen probably Sunday or Monday.

Yeah, I remember all the years Jeff Franceour 'fixed' his swing with the Braves...

That's better.

Thadeus, you know what, this year I'm going to beat you again, and to add insult to injury, I am going to do it with De La Rosa, the same guy that killed you in the Championship.

Yeah, that's why I said apparently. He's had a monster Spring Training, but that really doesn't mean anything.

I like my lineup a lot. My pitching is probably the worst in the league though...

I don't know, I think your lineup is a little light in the power department...

I wouldn't be too down on your pitching. The front end is nice and strong, though the back end does need some work. That's not a huge negative though. There's no Lincecums on the waiver wire, but a little luck can definitely land you a serviceable #5 or 6.

I still hate that I had the 6th pick in the draft... -_- I'm going into the season on a lot of "okay this guy could potentially have a breakout season" scenarios. I like the front end of my SP's, though.

EDIT: Also, Mr. Ninjafish, I sent you a trade offer.

I got a ton of iffy people. They either had bad seasons last year or injury problems in their career.Updated my trading block as well.I am looking for anyone with a good average and OBP.I have plenty of SP to trade so if you need any send me an offer.

My issue last year was power too, but I think a few of my guys are underrated. I think Mauer could easily hit 30 in that new stadium, and I think Berkman is horrendously underrated.

Let me guess, you're trying to get Brandon Phillips?

I've got 4 guys with OBP above .390, and I'd be willing to part with either Chipper, Helton, or Drew, but I've already got plenty of starting pitching.

No, actually. :P

I have Joba Chamerlain and I don't really want him, so I'm asking for Francisco Liriano.

I'll do my best!

Funny that we're playing each other the first week and we just made a trade with each other. Hopefully it doesn't bite me in the butt with Uggla having a huge week. :P

Sorry I didn't respond I was pretty busy this weekend. I would not have accepted anyway I am more in need of starters than relievers; though Joba should get someone plenty of holds as the Yankees' 8th inning guy.
