Yeah I didn't think you would but I thought I'd go ahead and try. lol

@Ninja Monkey: Apparently Uggla has a hurt finger. He's supposed to be able to play but I hope it doesn't affect him.

Woot woot! Go Sox! Unfortunately I don't have any players on the Red Sox on my team, which makes watching them a little less exciting (Except Daniel Bard, who is going to be nasty. He's a reliever bound to take Paplebon's spot, and he pitched one scoreless for me last night). Baseball is so exciting!

Gstaff, are you interested in trading Youkilis for some pitching maybe?

I love how the Gauchos and NinjaFish are handling their match up. Thadeus is down by three saves, so he grabs another guy who's closing while sbr's setup guy has an off day, so he grabs one who's pitching.

Or at least that's how I see it.

The move I made had nothing to do with being down by three saves. Just a better relief option all around really. We have until Sunday, so I'm not worried about being down in a category. The stats will come.

This is fun. I'm glad I don't plan on quitting. Unless I die.... then I can't really help it.

ESPN is like a foreign language to me, I go look at it and I have no idea what is going on. I'm so used to playing everything on Yahoo! that I can't even remember I have a team on ESPN half the time. I'm going to try and get it together though, before the season starts.

:whisper: The season already started...

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I really hate my pitching right now. I didn't take enough early and now I'm in a bit of a pickle. Maybe as the season develops I'll be able to improve it.

Well, in my defense spring break did just end today, so I just came back to reality.

I used to be a big baseball fan, a big Braves fan actually, now I just can't get into it. Thanks for the heads up though :P.

I'd like a top-notch OF. Anyone want to make a deal? Take a look at my roster...

Well if all the hype about Heywood turns out to be close to true you'll have something exciting to look forward to.

EDIT: I would also like to say that the Giant's closer looks absolutely ridiculous with that thing on the back of his head he calls a hairstyle.

I am the same, I hadn't even seen the scoreboard when I made that move. Sherrill has been bad all spring and I think Rodney will have a good season, he should get quite a few holds and could move into the closer role if Fuetes struggles/is hurt. That said I would not hesitate to grab a guy to win a category if I had an expendable roster spot.

I might be willing to deal at some point in the year, but I'd rather stand-pat through April. I want to see what I have and what I need before I start trading people.

See, as someone that owned Rodney last year I quite honestly wouldn't touch him with a ten foot poll unless he's guaranteed saves. Then again since you've picked him up, I bet he goes for 30 holds, 75 Ks, 0.95 ERA, and 0.900 WHIP.

^ I hear ya on that, I just don't want to be too far behind come May. My OF is iffy, especially since most of them are "potentially breakout" players.

Damn you red! I was going to add Zito yesterday but the thing was locked and didn't get a chance to add him today. :banghead:

Haha! I figure he's a better option than Leake, who I dropped. Zito will likely get more strikeouts. I'm hoping he puts together a solid season, or at least a decent one.

The quality of my pitching staff really depends on how Cliff Lee performs when he gets back. Also, I'm looking for Saves, so if anyone wants to work out a trade, please let me know. I just updated my block/interests.

I would be willing to move one of my relievers.

So has anyone gone to see a game yet? I'll be seeing the the Phillies beat up on the Astros this Sunday, but hopefully they won't get to Oswalt and it'll just be the bull pen that gets lit up.

I'll be going during the summer a couple of times. I'm going to see the Louisville Bats (Cincy's AAA team) next Sunday.

We have a Padres AA team here in San Antonio, but a few years ago (before they were affiliated with the Padres, I think) my family had some sort of bad experience. I don't remember what happened, but my dad was pissed and we're forbidden from going there anymore.

Well I have few chances to see my M's play but I still go to a Phillie game or two every year since thats my family's favorite team.
