As much as i would like to go to Summerset Isles, I doubt it will happen, unless Bethesda pulls some bs, and makes it so that the Thalmor are no longer in control of Summerset Isles because as of now no other race is allowed in there. So my preference is Elsewyr.

I have no speculation, since no clues have been offered, but I'd like to see Valenwood. Meat-mandated ware-elves are a good opportunity to stretch the design muscles, we're getting pretty good at doing trees, and it's a conflict ground between the Thalmor and the Empire. Hammerfell would also be awesome - I've always had a soft spot for Redguards, and those BAMFs are the only ones to really stand up to the Thalmor.

Valenwood is my top choice as well. (For years it was Black Marsh, but after running up against the Thalmor I'd love to see the next game in their periphery.)

How about the whole continent of Tamriel with each province being a Hub about the size of Blackreach (4 Square Miles). Fast Travel between each province is done from the Capital City such as the Imperial City, Solitude, Sentinel, or local carriages within the province.

Elf or Beast race province should be next. Last two games were set in human provinces, so it would be nice to see something a bit more alien. Summerset, Elsweyr and Vallenwood all involve the Thalmor. So all three places would tie into the next game.

My top three are Valenwood, Hammerfell and Summerset Isle I think for a TES game to be set in Elsweyr or black marsh would be rather strange because swaps, jungles' and desert along with the majority of NPC's to be Khajit or Argonian would be a strange mix into the whole medieval-fantasy genre

Why does size always afflict people's choices here? They never actually make the real size of the province, i'm pretty sure Skyrim isn't only 16 miles in Diameter Lorewise, so they can basically make it as big as they want o.o

I completely indulged myself in the Lore of that place, and need some kind of Make up for the lack of Khajiit *cough 28* in Skyrim.
in addition, we haven't explored any Beast race land yet not including Arena.

every province deserves to be focused directly in it's own game, nothing should be as half as important.

Hungry Donner, I noticed you closed the thread about "your favourite province" with this as an alternative. I don't believe this really serves quite the same purpose, because apart from the topic being somewhat different (your favourite province and the province you want/think the next game will be set in are not necessarily synonymous), the other thread had a poll on the subject, this one does not.

I would really love to see Elsweyr or Summerset Isles. The two seem very interesting and a chance to really thresh out the lore and more fantastical elements of TES series. I also think there is something very interesting about both of those races.

We need a break from human race provinces, I think. I liked Cyrodiil and love Skyrim, but it's time for something alien. Then we can go back to human stuff if we must

TES games have always been standalone with no storyline stretching from game to game so unfortunately the Thalmor storyline will probably be tied up in DLC unless Bethesda scraps that rule which is unprobable since it would make TES:VI less appealing to newer players.

On the topic of the next game location, if it were in:

Valenwood, a main quest surrounding the Great Hunt would be great.
Elsweyr, anything to do with the Mane and the moons would be great.
Hammerfell, a better civil war questline between Crown and Forebears.
High Rock, political intrigue and the game of assassinations, maybe (unlikely since I can't think of anything better)

I wouldn't want it in Summerset Isles or Black Marsh until seriously good (and I mean seriously good) consoles come out.

I agree the beast races lands would be the best chouice. For the fresh perspective, for the different style of fantasy, for the bold move of placing a weird protagonist as a marketing proposal. This would be eccentric and fresh, I'd like it. No, I'd love it. Cyrodiil and Skyrim have been great imo, but a little too familiar and nothing cries exploration more than an alien and hostile province (cough..Morrowind..cough).

First of all I'd like to see Skyrim dlc with a glimpse back into neighbouring provinces which we've previously visited (I can't see Beth returning to them in a complete new game until we've visited the uncovered provinces of Nirn first).

A return to Morrowind to the east I'm thinking is most promising (the piece of mainland Morrowind between Skyrim and the water surrounding Vvardenfell) as it is on the Skyrim map and there are already natural routes in. a bit of High Rock to the east and maybe Orsinium to the south could also be good.



For TES VI I want it to be Summerset Isle but much better would be the complete Aldmeri Dominion which would be a combined Summerset Isles and Valenwood but this may be a bit too large.

I'd expect the Aldmeri Dominion to be oriental or south east Asian / Indonesian in comparison to the nearest real life cultures but with so much more magical and supernatural ambience. I think Summerset may even have had airships in the past.

Maormer as an addition playable race would be a good suprise. We could get to see Sloads and Imga as well.

DLC for TES VI if set in Summerset Isle / Aldmeri Dominion I'd want to see Pyandonea of the Maormer to the south west and maybe the islands & peninsula of southern Hammerfell to the north (could add Dwemer ruins back into game). For a biggy we could visit Thras of the Sloads.

As I was taking my dremora character through the College of Winterhold questline, Ancano made a comment regarding the Psijiic Order being at odds with the Aldmeri Dominion. The next game could take place in Alinor (aka Summerset Isles) with players starting in Artaeum which could be aligned with the Empire in a second war between the Aldmeri Dominion and the Empire. This would allow for players of all playable races to be treated equally.

Yeah, I hope the whole Thalmor is history by the next Elder Scrolls, they should do away with it in the expansions.

I really need to know, will there be TES:VI? I'm not interested in MMOs, so please tell me there will be another single player TES. Since Morrowind loved the series as a whole.
