TES Online PS4 Old pre-order question

Post » Mon May 04, 2015 1:46 pm

First let me apologize if this is in the wrong section but honestly I didn't feel like making another account to make a thread on the TES Online site.

So like some I pre ordered the game last year, when it had it's FIRST PS4 release date. (sometime in april? I can't remember)
Then the release date was pushed back. Now it finally has a set date as TES Online Unlimited.
I never went back to Best Buy to refund my old pre order for the previous release date. I still have the receipt and even the little card board display.
Will this be valid still when the game comes out? If not can I even refund it after this much time? Did i pay money just for the fancy receipt?

If anyone knows the answer I appreciate it. Despite some negative reviews, it's still a scrolls game and I want to try it just to cross it off my list.

This is something you need to take up with Best Buy as it is up to them whether they'll honor the old pre-order.

I wonder that you do not call and ask them. No one here knows the answer to that and if they did answer Best Buy would not be beholden to that. Call them. I'm sure that you will find them most helpful.

I have questions too.. What about the pre-order for PS4 for the Imperial Edition for in store pick-up? No one seems to have it available; Best Buy, Target, GameStop, Walmart says coming soon.... You can order it to ship to your house but who wants to wait for the mail? I am hoping to get it at midnight via available upgrade copies, but no one is offering pre-order on the Imperial Edition so I had to settle for the regular. I am torn with just ordering it to ship crossing my fingers that when I go into pick up my pre-order from GameStop I can upgrade, and return the one in the mail. But if they don't have the Imperial Edition I'm now stuck with 2 copies of the game... but if they don't, at least I have a copy in the mail... and now I'm actually stuck with 2 copies. Is the Imperial edition just a code that unlocks the Imperials? How would installing one version over the other work? With the delay it's just made everything way more confusing than it has to be and I can't seem to find any answers since you need an invitation code to joining the ESO form... really? Will we get invitation codes with our console copies? There should probably be a separate form for the console reversions don't you think? I am excited for the game, it's been too long a wait. Suggestions... Solutions.... ?? #firstworldproblems

I posted this before calling because I thought someone might be in the same shoes and already have an answer. Though I will call Best Buy and see what is up.

I would be very surprised if someone actually knew the answer at BestBuy...
