TES Players favourite films

Basically inspired by Plato125 and his/her topic about favourite bands. I am interested as to your favourite films as to whether there is any similarities between the members of this forum.

My top 10 (series if you wish can count as 1 film if like me you have difficulty choosing between films)
In no particular order:
1- Forrest Gump (Beautiful story well played by Tom Hanks, I also loved the way dozens of real life events were weaved into the story)

2- The Green Mile (Again great story and performance from Tom Hanks.... Micheal Clarke Duncan however was pheominal and put in one of the all time great performances)

3- The Pirates of the Caribbean series (I am just a fan boy, love Jack Sparrow)

4- The National Treasure series (I just love Diane Kruger...... The stories themselves I like as they take real life events and put interesting twists on them as well as funny)

5- Batman Begins and The Dark Knight (Heath Ledger as the Joker put in one of the..... if not the greatest ever villian film performance ever)

6- The Shawshank Redemption (Great story and brilliant cast. Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins were perfect)

7- Snatch (Funny all the way through, clever plot and 5* cast)

8- Monsters Inc (it was the first film me and my girlfriend saw together and since then I have always called her boo: been together 5 years so far so all though this film is one of my favourites for sentimental reasons it must be said that it has a great story behind it)

9- Dances with Wolves (Beautiful story of how given the chance 2 cultures can get along, Kevin Costner will never do a better film)

10- Pulp Fiction (Great plot, very good dialouge and 5* cast)

I think it's quite interesting that as much as I love the Elder Scrolls I don't like any fantasy films. Wierd eh?

Anything Quentin Tarintino.

Anything Rob Zombie.

Anything Kevin Smith.

Zulu- A fantastic war movie.

We Were Soldiers- Another fantastic war movie.

Off Season- Its an indie horror movie like no other.

Spinal Tap- "But these go to eleven"

O' Brother where art' thou?- Seriously, how can you not enjoy this movie?

Kill the Irishman- A fantastic mob story about Danny Greene.

This is all off the top of my head, of course.

Anything that has Tom Hanks, Christopher Walken, or Jack Nickilson I generally enjoy.

Personally favorites that come to mind.

-Lord of the Rings (a favorite among many TES fans I'd imagine)
-Batman Begins and the Black Knight
-Kingdom of Heaven (set in the crusades era and would recommend the director's cut version of the movie)
-Serenity (firefly fan)

Basically anything directed by Peter Jackson, Ridley Scott (also made gladiator along with above mentioned Kingdom of Heaven), and Christopher Nolan I would atleast check out.
