I didn't see the Legion in there but I voted Redoran since they are much alike (and my fav house). I like the Bosmers, the whole Sylvan thing has always appealed to me. My guess is that we'll see Skyrim in the next game but any province will do. The Nerevarine is greater because he/she defeated Dagoth Ur and destroyed the Heart of Lorkhan. The Champion of Cyrodiil was a great warrior but didn't kill the main boss :toughninja:

That is why.

i added a "other" option in that. i couldve gone on for the whole 20 max on people but i wanted to keep it simple and user friendly

The questions were a bit different than the usual, I doubt many actually noticed.

What race am I most alike:
I think Bosmer, if not the obvious 'Imperial' of course. Apart from height, I'm the annoying Bosmer, yes.

What faction is most along your ideals:
I never played MW, so didn't go for any of their houses. I took the Blades, although slightly unsure what they were like in MW.
I don't really identify myself with murderers, scholars, corrupt brawlers, fanatic worshippers or power hungry politicians, so I didn't really have a lot of choice.

What province:
All evidence supports Skyrim, so any other choice would mean you're simply making wild guesses, though admittedly, I wouldn't fall of my chair if Beth ended up doing another province.

Who was the best:
The champion saved Tamriel, if not all of Mundus, the Nerevarine saved the people of Morrowind (unless I'm terribly mistaking), at least until the events of the Eternal City, so I think it's obvious who of the two accomplished the most.

I don't share the ideas of these factions, but you forgot the Arena, Knights of the Nine, the various knightly and templar factions of Daggerfall, the heroes of Arena and Daggerfall, Necromancers(now separate from the Mages Guild), and the Court of Madness(Shivering Isles). Also, why did you only mention the Blades of Morrowind?

Was it the Champion of Cyrodiil that saved the day, or was it really Martin Septim? And, if you think about it, did the Nerevarine really save Morrowind, or did he inadvertently destroy it? Wasn't it because the Nerevarine destroyed the Heart of Lorkhan that the Tribunal lost their divine powers? From what I've heard through discussions about The Infernal City, the island of Vvardenfell (and much of the outlying area) is destroyed by the Ministry of Truth as a result of Vivec losing his powers. At least, that's if the rumors I've heard are true, and The Infernal City is accepted as canon.

Because polls have only 20 options for each poll! and plus the imperial cult and the KotN are similar. and i dont put much store into the numerous knightly orders in DF. necromancers were in my "rough draft" but got replaced by Daedric worshippers. if you would actually read the posts you might have a general understanding of why i didnt add other heroes. though there is an "other" option. and the Court of Madness is not generally large enough. i could of added the Psijics or something else thats relatively obscure in TES 3&4. the witch covens for example.(though one is in and the blades of morrowind is a failed edit. i originally had the blades of morrowind and oblivion as seperate factions but deleted the oblivion one in place for the imp legion.

What race am I most alike?
  • As much as I'd like to say I'm like one of the cooler races in TES, I probably have the most in common with Imperials. I'm pretty non-descript, average. That seems to be a trait common to Imperials.

What faction suits my ideals best?
  • I'd say the Great House Telvanni for this one, and not just because I like them and they're cool. I just want to do my own thing -- do what you want but don't bother me with it.

Which province do I think TES V will take place in?
  • Skyrim. That seems to be what things are pointing to, or at least what the majority of our community think things are pointing to, which is good enough for me.

Which hero do I think is greater, the Nerevarine or the Champion of Cyrodiil?
  • The Nerevarine, hands down. I won't try to disguise my answer with a legitimate reason. I'm biased towards Morrowind because I like it more, and I think the Nerevarine's accomplishments are cooler. Though the Champion's whole run-in with Sheogorath and Umaril is pretty cool as well.

A List of The Nerevarines achievements
1.Killed 2 gods(3 if you killed vivec, though thats not canon)
2.killed Dagoth Ur's powerful lieutenants in single combat
3.Gained the support of the 4 ashlander tribes and 3 Great houses
4.Broke into the high security prison The Ministry of Truth and saved Mehra Milo(spelling XP)
5.Met The Eartly Tiber Septim in the form of Wulf
6. Defeated Hircine, Daedric Prince of the hunt, in single combat
7. Defeated Tharstagg, frost giant, in single combat
8. Defeated Fargoth in single combat
9.Ended the Blight
10.Recieved Moon and Star from Azura herself

yes we do indeed know who the greater hero is

1. Breton.

2. Meridia, but they're all are pretty shady in their moral behavior.

3. I'd say the champion of cyrodiil, but only because he saved / help save the entire world. As I understand it, the whole morrowind issue was a secluded one. dagoth ur wanted to drive out the outlanders, not take over the world.

Which race are you most like?

Nord. I'm kind of big and brawny, but with average intelligence. I also relate myself to Nords a bit more because of my Norwegian ancestry, though I'm also mixed with Imperial and Dunmer. :P

Which Faction shares your personal ideals(if any)

Redoran, if any. The whole 'honor and duty' are a part of my belief system. However, I admire knowledge and intellegence, so the Mages Guild also appeals to me.

Which Province do you think TES V will take place in?

All signs are pointing towards Skyrim, so I'm gettin' on that boat.

Who was the greater hero?

For reasons stated above, I would say neither the Champion of Cyrodiil or the Nerevarine are great heroes. If I'm to choose between the two, and assuming that The Infernal City isn't canon, then I would go with the Nerevarine because he actually defeated a demi-god, whereas the CoC was basically Martin's errand boy. However, I've heard a few things about Cyrus the leads me to believe he's pretty bad-ass.

Breton

They have good bonuses and don't look too bad, but their hair style choices were extremely limited in Morrowind, so I always had a dirty blond pony tail. Everything else was bald or balding.

Mages Guild

As a good Breton, I am a good mage. However, I am generally more compassionate a character, so I usually refrain from joining the Telvanni, instead opting for Hlaalu.

Skyrim

See trademarks

The Nerevarine

He killed a god, a devil, and the aspect of a god, without any help and on his own power. He stopped a two thousand year old war dead in its tracks and paved the way for the modernization of Morrowind (at least until it went boom). The Champion of Cyrodiil always took the backseat to Martin, who seemed to be the true hero, especially with the ending of Oblivion. The Champion did a lot to help out, but he was not the true hero, more like a sidekick. Even though he/she becomes a god, it doesn't matter, since he/she will take the exact place of that god, so no one will remember what he/she did anyways. The Champion didn't even stop a world disaster in that case, but an entirely Daedric matter.

1. Nord

It's my heritage pretty much. You'd probably find me in one of the colleges(Crazy isn't it? Nords aren't all stereotype stupid) in Skyrim.

2. Redoran suits me best, though the Tong is somewhat close to my skillset.(If I were a DnD class, it'd be avenger)

3. Cyrus was pretty awesome. But from personal experience. Nerevarine > CoC.

I would say the greatest hero would be the hero of battlespire. they don't call it "an elder scrolls legend:battlespire" for no reason.

list of acomplishments.
1.)is stuck behind enemy lines from an invasion of the battlespire and survived
2.)turned the forces of lord dagon against each other
3.)gained allies from other deadra princes's armys.
4.)participated in the wild hunt and actually survived where nobody ever had survived before
5.)fought through dagons army
6.)used knowledge to defeat dagon himself and cast him into oblivion by himself.
7.)had the endurance to do this without resting
8.)did all this to rescue his friend and stop the invasion.

Bosmer- My first play through in each ES game, is usually as a Bosmer.
Great House Telvanni- I love the organic architecture, isolationist ideals and Arcane prowess of the Telvanni.
Skyrim- I believe there was some kind of trademark that Bethesda had been renewing consistently on Skyrim.
Equally Great- I really can't decide haha. They were both great, in my opinion.

Argonians: I personally love reptiles. And they are witty and clever and make good use of the environment.(in Black Marsh that is) Much like I am. :toughninja:

I'm not too sure on the guilds though...I haven't really played enough Morrowind to really know too much about the houses. But if I had to pick a guild that was my favorite it would be the Mages Guild. I just love the magical things cause I'm a dork like that.

Well signs point to Skyrim but I really am looking forward to if they do Black Marsh soon.

Well I can't really decide between CoC or the Nerevarine its pretty hard but....I'm going with the Champion of Cyrodiil. Sure he did errands but hell I'm pretty sure thats some hard shazz he had to go through. He killed Mankar Cameron (spelling?), Saved the Would-be-Emperor from the Daedra, Went into countless Oblivion Gates and not to mention a Great Gate by himself and Saved Bruma, and saved the entire world from destruction. If it wasn't for the Champion of Cyrodiil the world would be destroyed and overrun by daedra. Plus if it counts (i doubt it), he became a God (hypothetically), killed Umrail, and defeated Jyggalag (spelling agian?). The Nerevarine if I'm not mistaken ONLY saved Morrowind. And killed a ASPECT of a god.

Dunmer because I'm proud, aloof and rather self satisfied even though I have no particular reason to feel that way. I'm also ash coloured and over 1000 years old. I consider lizards and cats to be beneath me and I would never consider talking to either species.

Hlaalu because I'm fairly manipulative and an accomplished liar.

Skyrim because it's obvious.

Nerevarine, again this should be obvious. The champion didn't save the world, Martin Septim did. The champion was his glorified runner. When Sean Bean says jump he asks "How high, and would you like your coffee with one sugar or two?"
