TES: Strategy Game - Anyone Interested?

No. The only kind of game other than the regular RPGs I wouldn't mind seeing for the Elder Scrolls would be a D20 Tabletop Campaign set.

I would love to play an Elder Scrolls strategy game, it would be interesting to see Tamriel in a different genre. I would prefer the game to be a hybrid like the Total War games, but I would be happy with a Turn based game or Real-Time.

Heroes of Elder Scrolls would be cool.

A Total War: TES game would be cool. I used to be into RTSs but I kinda got tired of them because they were too fast-paced and involved too much micromanagement. I never liked turn-based strategy that much (except the Civ series), because its too slow for me. However, a hybrid is just right, and Total War games are the only strategy games I play currently. They're awesome!

While I agree that TES is great (possibly the greatest) the way it is, your closed mindedness is showing. As long as the game is "farmed" to another developer it doesn't mean we can't get the same old kind of TES we know and love! :nono:

I personally have been starving for a breath of fresh strategy since Civ 4 and AOE (II not III). I guess I'll settle for the Settlers 7...

Civilization V is coming out this autumn. I think it should do nicely. ;)

As for me, I'd be very interested in a Total War style Elder Scrolls game.

I don't know, I was reading some reviews that both made me happy and made me scared regarding Civ V.

i think there could be potential in an rts. preferably they should make it similar to middle earth 1. i wouldnt want some uber sh!tty cap, and it being all cartoony. i like age of empires type RTSs but it doesnt seem to fit ES. of course theyd need good story, and kich @$$ heroes, but it could be good, as long as it wouldnt get in the way of the true ES games, as im sure it wouldnt.

No. Not because I don't like strategy games, but because I don't feel the need to turn TES into one. Age of Empires is good enough for me.
