Im just trying to see what other people think. I thought it would be fairly enjoyable, just crossing one of your friends in the world when both of you are online, setting out to kill them, or just helping each other out with dungeons. People may say that multiplayer on an ES game would be horendous, but Im thinking CoOp, not something big like World of Warcraft. Yes, but everything would have to be completely restructured. It wouldn't at all be the same ES experience we've come to know and love.

I would support co-op if certain barriers could be established first. For example, what's stopping your buddies from going around and murdering the entire city of Whiterun 'for teh lulz' when your back is turned? Or going to your house and taking all your carefully arranged books and rare artifacts?

If Co-op was to be implemented, then it should only be for specific dungeons/quests where there is no chance of the other players faffing about, or making it solely a survival/arena affair.

I would probably only occasionally use it, if that. the thing I like about single player games is that I can pause them for 10 minutes if I have to do something, I can quit whenever I want, I can also take my time and go where I want.

Please, Please, Please, Please for the love of Talos, stop with these co-op/multiplayer threads. Go look for a mod if they exist for Skyrim already but stop trying to persuade the devs attention and resources to a MP section when the SP already needs work, balancing and proper scaling!

Yes, someone made a mod to do this in oblivion. I think there is desire for it, the mod did basically what you suggested co-op should be in TES.

No ta, because I still think there is a long way to go regarding becoming a perfect single player RPG (not to say there hasn't been strides already), and I'd hate to see resources diverted when there are other games to fill that multiplayer/co-op gap. TES doesn't need to be all of the things all of the time for me.

Problem is, your friends and buddies would ruin the immersion (and as someone mentioned earlier: your house and beloved towns folk) for you. I just don't think it would work.

NO, they can't even balance the game to 1 person let alone 2-4.

There is no way I could play a game like this in multiplayer. If anyone who I play with is anything like me they'd probably run off giggling and chasing foxes in the middle of a dragon fight.
