TES with modern technology

Over the past 20 years the Elder Scrolls games have progressed and changed with the times and with technology but, the setting has remained relatively the same. Each game has been set in a vaguely Eurasian country with a medieval feudal type of society. I was wondering what you think Tamriel will look like in maybe the 5th or 6th era if there is an industrial revolution of sorts or even in a modern time frame. What sort of magikca/technology development would you expect to see? Who is in power and what sort of governments and social structures would you expect to see? What do the peoples of Nirn do for things like transportation, education, economy and entertainment? Are the continents at war? Are any of the common races extinct or so inter bred that they are indistinguishable from what we see in game? What do you think?

Don't expect bethesda to do such things. And I don't want them to, quite frankly.
But as for the question how the world would be like if the unnecessary event of an industrial revolution took place: it would be ugly. It would be dirty, loud and polluted. With an architecture that consists of stacked geometrical forms. It would be comfortable up to the point where people go to the fitness center only not to get fat and sick, instead of using their body in a meaningful and natural way.
To make it short: it would be an abomination.
