Tes4gecko and steam?

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 2:47 pm

Ok so i am getting an error when trying to start gecko, it can't find my oblivion install directory. Seems it's because it is looking for registry key to get install location, but of course steam doesn't use bethesda's normal registry key so it can't find it. Is there any way i can tell it where my install directory is? And no i don't know jack about java so editing the .jar file is a probably going to be more then i can be bothered trying to learn just to get this working. Are there any alternative programs i can use just to merge plugins? Or am i going to have to do an extra install from disc just to use gecko?

See my thread: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1107520-tes4gecko-error/page__p__16221100__fromsearch__1&#entry16221100

I had to make a fake oblivion registry key in the correct location.
