TESO Census

Post » Wed Jan 29, 2014 12:00 pm

Since the latest edition of The Tamriel Chronicles is linking it, I would guess it's ok to link and openly discuss the information on this census.

Over 1,000 people have taken part so far, so the information might actually be useful!

Argonians have the least players, apparently?

I know what race I'm being, then!

Yep, this definitely deserves a bump, given that the new crafting professions are now public knowledge. Still gonna be quite skewed until folks know exactly what they do though.

It's interesting to note that while EP enjoys only a very small lead on the EU server (21 total over AD, or 3 percentage points), that lead is not only more than doubled, but reversed on NA's server (43, or 8 percentage points). Guess that's the Tamriel Foundry effect then. Damn dirty elves.

As you might have seen, we are adding a guild database as well.

Nevertheless, this will never become a news-fansite with forums and all that.

Thanks to everyone supporting the census.

No probs. Are you planning to do another one/reset this one after release? As I said, these things are always gonna be quite inaccurate until people get their hands on the game and the NDA drops.

It is not planned yet, as every entry can be added by its creator. I think it depends on how many people will join the census during the next 2 months. If there are still about 1000 entries, a reset won't be worth it, because I dont' think that we would get such numbers again.

I really wouldn't count on people correcting their submissions if you don't reset. And I promise you, a thousand entries will be small fry compared to what you're gonna get if you post this on ESO's own forums two weeks after release.

Your call, but it makes sense if you want accurate, reliable results. Trust me, I'm an accountant.

N.B: If you don't do it, TF surely will, and yours is far superior to what they've come out with. Also, they've had more than a thousand responses both times. People are clearly more than happy to vote in multiple surveys. Heck, I've probably 'chosen my race' about two dozen times over the last 2 years.
